Nothing new here ... 11 yrs ago or so, there would be people selling drugs at one of the doors on the way to the career center and there would be kids selling it in the hallways. With all the video cameras they have there and the police officers inside the building and outside on horseback, you would think they would be able to get these people.

It's kind of funny. The same people that started the drug craze in the mid sixties and early seventies (Baby Boomers) are going crazy when they hear about kids with drugs. I'm sure they have forgotten about the nickle bags they sold in the school parking lot and the days they came to school high. I estimate that at least 40 to 50 percent of my senior class of 1974 smoked daily. Of those that smoked about 0 percent sold nickle and dime bags. The only difference now is the companies that run the prisons need their cells to be full to make a profit. Let us stop fooling ourselves, it's all about making a dollar for the police department, the city and big business. How many people you know went to jail in the sixties and seventies for nickle and dime bag on school property? I do not no any.

After they pick on this guy, they should go to 243 Treemount Lane in Gaston. He keeps the drugs in his Red Saturn parked by the porchlight so that he hopefully can hear someone if they try to break into it. He is also known to be having sex with his daughter. DSS has an open case about him, but the people have been coming and going more and more. His daughter even tells others that he puts "white power" in her drinks to help her rest at night. LCSD has been called, but all they do is drive by.

How do you know this information?

If you strongly feel/know that this man is sleeping with his daughter and giving her something in her drink to help her "rest at night", then contact the county DSS office and ask to speak to the worker handling that child's case. Then, call that worker back the next day to see if any follow-up was done. Keep calling, or ask to speak to the worker's supervisor. They are not going to sit down and give out personal information to you about this family, but they will let you know that they are following up. However, the report must be made in good faith, or you could be the one to have a problem. DSS has a lot of cases and they can't keep up with what they have to investigate now.

I wouldn't make it easy for him to get out of jail. Why? Because most people that do drugs or have drugs go back to it anyway. I think he should stay in jail for a while.
