Mrs. Anderson was my bus driver for many years and i am deeply saden by her death..she will be missed.

Sumter is in the news so much these days.. I'm starting to refer to it as "little Anderson". I hope they catch these evil men. My prayers go out for the loved ones of this lady.

Unfortunately, criminals are no longer scared of the law or jail! Its an honor to head to jail and meet up with old family and friends. We need to stop worrying about their rights and punish them! Stop coddling them as if they were children. MAKE PUNISHMENT TOUGHER! So tough that people think before they act in a crime! Take out TV, PHONES, WEIGHTS, CLASSES! Put them in a cell to sit ALL day and eat minimal. Basics! Bread, water, frits and veggies. Make them NOT want to come back. Nothing more then Camp for these criminals.

Angie will be sadly missed by all of her fellow employees. She was a good person. She always laughed and cut up with the rest of us. Many of times when I needed the extra help she was always there. Going to work tomorrow morning and for the months to follow it will be a large task for all of us. So those of you out there who beileve in prayer, pray for all the District 17 drivers as well as her family during this horrible time. I look foreward to seeing her again one day in Heaven. B1

When children are raised to respect others. When children are raised to value what consequences are. When children appreciate what they have and not what they don't have.

I live on Shaw AfB in Sumter and I REFUSE to leave the base without my husband anymore. I am so afraid to take my two year old daughter out to even just Walmart by meyself. We've even gone as far as volunteering to go to Alaska just to get our family out of Sumter. It's sad because not all the people here are bad, but I think the bad definitely outweighs the good.

I try to stay from racist comments but it is getting harder to ignore when the majority of faces that show up are black.There is something wrong and I don't ever hear any out cry from the black community. Shame on them.

Of course there is crime in Alaska. I'm not that naive. It just seems like there are a lot of gangs and violent crimes here and it scares me. I just want to take my daughter somewhere safe and while I know that there is no place that is 100 percent safe, I just don't think Sumter is a place I feel comfortable living in anymore. Like I said though, I know that not everyone who lives in Sumter is bad. I wasn't trying to offend anyone.

Crime is everywhere you go. Crime is going to continue to be everywhere you go. It's never going to get better! Pray to God that you will wake up tomorrow! That's about all we can do anymore!

Hopefully all these domestic murder will really help change the current laws. How many more people have to die because another person can't get over a relationship?
