Why is it that when the Sumter Recreation Department has games at the field, they do not have any medical back-up there to be prepared if a child got hurt? At one football game a child was hurt and it took thirty or more minutes for the ambulance to arrive. We need an ambulance on sight at each and every game. There is always one on sight at school outdoor games, why not these?

we were required to have them at all of our events, no exceptions, I reckon the county doesnt have to follow their own rules. I bet their reasoning is they are saving tax payers money...

I agrea to the moral of your story but there is simply not enough parametics for the to be one at every sports game. I meen, just about every kid in the USA plays at least if not more! At least at sports games there usualy a doctor there, if all of the parametics wher at all of the spors games there would be nobody to help if an old lady triped and fell down the stairs all alone.

hey, i used to be stationed at Shaw and would spend a lot of time down at Swan Lake. One of the park employees said that there was a 14 footer in the swamp on the side without all of the boardwalks.
