Democratic Party announces Lisa Wade candidate for State's Attorney Lawrenceville - "I'm pleased to announce that we have an outstanding, experienced and highly qualified candidate for state's attorney. Lawrence County voters deserve a real choice for an important office like state's attorney, and I'm pleased to announce they are now going to have that choice. I'd like to introduce Ms. Lisa Wade

I am supporting Lisa Wade for the position of Lawrence County States Attorney. I have met with her and posed questions to her that are very important to me. Questions that SHOULD be important to other people in this community:
Will she live here?
YES
Will she do business here?
YES
We need every tax dollar we can get and when someone like Pat Hahn is elected to office and spend ALL of his money out of county, it creates a situation where we have a slow bleed of local funds OUTSIDE of our community.
I have owned a printing and office supply company in Lawrence County for 2 years now. We are the ONLY such company in the county. However, Mr. Hahn's office has NEVER done any business with us. Instead, he chooses to buy from companies in Vincennes, IN.
None of the tax dollars that support his office stay in the county to recirculate here at home.
It is time for change.
It is time for Lisa Wade!!!
She can make promises, like a comment she posted in a paper in Clay County I read that had something along the lines she Virtually Eliminated Meth Use in Clay County. Maybe so, but I never saw any stats on how many she sent to jail and how many she diverted, and how many cases she dropped. Those could have been the deciding factors in the election.

I find it interesting the only thing that you are worried about is the money issue and Pat not buying thing from you. I have seen Pat purchasing several things in Lawrence County. How may of the people in Lawrence County go to Vincennes and shop for groceries. I KNOW lots of them. I try to do everthing I can to keep our tax dollors in Lawrence County.
As far as a good state's attorney. Pat has done a GREAT JOB. I am not concered about the $$$$$ issue lets be concerned about what really matters and that is the crime and meth rate. He has done very well in this area. We work in the Law Enforcement and Pat will stand by us anyway we need help.
Pat has our vote and support.

From what I read, he is just as bad as the famous Wade herself, avoiding handling many cases or not prosecuting them. But I know the media can be misleading these days.

well maybe you should check again. i know better. My husband works at Lawrence Correctional Center. I work at Robinson Correctional Center. We know first hand how many he has sent to prison. He also works well with the prisons dealing with the inmates that have to come to court with an offense they have gotten while in prison. This is common. I was told today that the meth rate is down in Lawrence County since Pat became State Attorney. That came from a police officer.
He is a very good family man & honest man with Christian morals. He is doing a great job.

right on - at least when she was in Clay they did get some druggers put away - they couldn't just make their campaign contributions and the one they got now look the other way. like some of the people say (j carpenter, the abuser & cocaine, his mommy, marla cocain, step daddy multiple charges like father & mommy, like son - and aunt on the dole because shes so fat and lazy, even real daddy r pierce don't want anything to do with them.
they say they don't worry they got the law in the pocket.
