we are wanting to leave southern missouri and cedar city area had popped up on some stuff i was looking at.

my question is how much is rent roughly for a house? What about the schools and healthcare? weather - any tornadoes or flooding problems?
what about crime and friendliness of people.

is it expensive to live in utah?

we have a 7 year old daughter and we want to move away from Kennett, MO (yeah hometown sheryl crow, david nail, trent tomlinson) the economy sux, no jobs really, a lot of senseless crimes and drugs. we live in a town of 11k people roughly - There's also a lot of illegal immigrants here which i don't condone, it needs to be legal b/c im all for bettering your family!!! There'a also a lot of interracial couples, which each to their own, but when it involves having a kid it creates a lot of mixed emotions -
Im a LPN and my husband has his CDL and he's wanting to be home every night so something local - he has also thought about becoming a police officer, which i dont know exactly what the requirements are there ..

seems like a pretty place to live
