my car has been here for almost 3 weeks. everytime i call i am assured i will recieve a call back on the status of my car and the status of backordered parts, to which i have not recieved one call yet. i have only made a call about 3 times.i do however believe if someone says they are going to check for you and return your call they should have the courtesy to do so.my last call was made on thursday, fevruary 25th and i was told again they would check on the staus of my backordered air bag. no call yet.

I have a 2008 Audi that experienced some hail damage in my home town (not charleston), and while the local body shops in my area were inundated with repairs, I thought I would get my car repaired in Charleston since I had to be there for business for a couple weeks anyway. Two months before I came to Charleston, I contacted Charleston Collision on Redbank Rd. and asked them if they were capable of repairing my car. I sent around 20 photos of the hail damage and a quote from a local body shop via email to the gentleman I spoke with and he assured me that they could fix my car during the time I was going to be in town. I even called two more times prior to my trip to make sure things were in order. Three days after I dropped off my car, I received a phone call from the gentleman telling me that their Paintless Dent Repair specialist decided that he could not, in fact, repair my car as he previously thought. I spent $150 for a rental car for three days wasted and had to find a different shop to fix the car. I am disappointed that I put so much faith in Charleston Collision, only to have my time and money wasted. But the staff was very friendly.

So after being promised my car would be ready on 6 different dates that they told to me and a month and one week later they still had not managed to fix a back bumper and paint job... If you are looking for a company thats dependable and who prides themselves on customer service go somewhere else... Never got phones calls back on the status of my car as i was also promised on 4 different occasions. Dont go here if you want your car to be done any time soon. You will end up being extremely disappointed and beyond frustrated. Ha im still waiting on my car to be done...

My Honda Odyssey developed a water leak resulting in the carpet in the rear well being soaked whenever it rained. I took the car to another shop twice and they could not find the problem. I decided to try Charleston Collision. These guys did a great job! They found multiple leaks, made the repairs in a couple days, and spent time with me when I picked up the car to demonstrate there were no more leaks. It has been some time since the repairs were done and the car is still dry inside. I had a really good experience here and they will be my first stop if I ever need repairs in the future.

The people were friendly but the end result is that I received inferior work. What is worse is that when I showed them that the car was not fixed properly they promised to fix it and never did. They just dragged it out and then finally told me that the damage to my dashboard was unrelated to the accident, and the insurance company will not cover it. If they had looked at my car properly before they would have noticed the damage to the dashboard after the accident and fixed it then. It seems that there only concern was to keep the insurance company as a client and not fixing my car properly. I will never send another sole to them and higly not recommend anyone use them.

They can only repair what the insurance company allows them to repair...they are on direct repair with the insurance company...fixing a dash can be costly and alot of time and work depending on the car..the reason it probably took so long was they had to take pictures and send them in to the insurance company then they had to send a insurance adjuster out to make the final decision..they can not fix your dash for free I'm sure if you wanted to pay the difference they would have fixed it...im sure if you was a tech working there you would not want to pull a dash out or replace/repair it for free.Thats hours lost for the tech..A body shop can only go so fast and do so much because yes they are trying to do what the insurance company wants them to do so they can receive more work but also make the customer happy also.
