She asked the man there if they gave a military discount on there oil changes.... He said no, why should we...
She stated because the military is out ther giving there lives for you and everyone else.
He said something like we don't give one. My wife said that was nasty.
He left and then came back saying I don't appreciate you calling me nasty.... She said she didn't. Just that no military discount is nasty.
He asked her if she wanted to talk to the manager. She said no. But evidently he got him anyway.
The manager said discounts should be asked befor the care was brought in... Personally I don't see what difference that is... If they don't give a discount it doesnt matter. If they did, they would have given it anyway.
I have worked some years working retail... As hard as it is, I have always been told, and when I managed a store went by the rule the customer was right. I realize there could be certain situations that could differ.
But here that employee shouldn't have came out challenging, the manager should have been appologizing for his employee. He didn't.
No big loss for themI guess. We are one family and two cars. But there are to many other places we can go to have a oil change.
Maybe if you are military or a Veteran, it sounds like they are not supporting you.
It will not be the Pittsop.
