Charleston airport board chairman reverses employee's promotion

I am curious to know what her "NEW" duties would be in the new position that would warrant the equivalent of a really good, high paying job (which are not plentiful in Charleston to begin with) for one person.$65,000 is a very, very, very high salary for this area as it is. Most people as executive assistants are only making $12-14 per hour no matter what the company in this market. The job description given shows a dedicated employee but at $65k, I think she is MORE than compensated for her role as executive assistant. Does that mean that she would still be his assistant AND have more duties? I am glad she oversees ONE whole person and does receptionist duties. Something is awry here in the whole scheme of things, especially in relation to the reality of wages in SC for the lowly rest of us who work in the private sector and are not taxpayer subsidized.

Its lawless white collar crime and corruption. The snobs in charge operate above the law. They all attend social functions, dinner parties, etc with one another.
