I can't see that we've had a
truly good one, ever.

Most were either part of the
local regime, or they seemed
afraid of it

I've heard that Mike stood up to them and they quickly decided he had to go. The ones that pushed so hard to get him in pushed even harder to get him out.

Absolutely true, Boo. Mike's platform was to get water to Gore/Subligna. He got elected. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He got crucified.

Harry Powell he ran the county with a fraction of the people and had a better outcome. He used the county chain gang to get alot of it done. This is what we need now

No, you heard wrong. What MD did was to fu** over 99% of the county to make sure that he got water to his property, everyone else who "benefited" from this project was just incidental to his effort. He had to go because prior to the last election, when he realized that people had caught on to his antics, he made sure obligated the county taxpayers to a set of long term loans that ensured his water project could not be stopped.

Now the 99% who don't live around MD are stuck with paying back the loans that are so high that our property taxes only cover the interest for the next 30+ years.

And tell us how Jason, the Boy Wonder, has managed to lose at least 1/2 million dollars of tax money?
I agree with Boo Radley about Mike.
The bunch got him in and then turned on him.

Oh no, you go ahead and explain it to me. JW has had a meeting every month since he took office where he has presened the latest financial reports, so you feel free to prove your point. The fact is that you can't.

The only theft that went on at the Commissioners office was by MD, and that's why his sorry a$$ is back at work mending fences, which is the only thing he is almost qualified to do.

Tell the people in Subligna down to Gore that public water was a bad move by MD.Walker Co. is connecting
to the water to serve the Armuchee valleys, that should help pay for the water being here.

No single individual should run the county alone. That is an arcane management system. Thus my vote for "other".

The sole commissioner system is only about 150 years outdated. Very, and i mean VERY, few counties use it. It too easily leads to abuse of power.
