Dude, I have never ever been arrested, done nothing illegal other than get a speeding ticket in over 30+ years of driving. And have no relatives who frequent jail or been in prison And I WILL talk about cops.DIRTY, LOW DOWN, SHADY LAW BREAKING, DRUG ABUSING COPS. Cops that are dirty, not living up to the oath they took to protect and serve the community.
I am sick to death about hearing what good people and "great guys" they are and they just made a mistake. The jails are full of people that are good people that made mistakes and yet the same cops sniffing cocain up their noses are arresting them. Police should not be immuned to being drug tested, arrested and held acountable like every other citizens. Having a tin penny star on your chest does not mean you can choose to enforce them when it comes to every one else and think they should not apply to you. I say just like any other civil servant...DRug Screen all of them randomly and regularly, especially cops that work narcotics or do any undercover stuff. Lord knows they have ample opportunity to get hooked now don't they? I am an observer, I listen and pay attention and have seen abuses at the hands of Law enforcement just because they can and know they don't have to answer for their actions.well,I hope those days are coming to an end fairly soon . Bad part is GOOD COPS also get a bad warp due to the abuses of the rotten. But GOOD COPS should gladly pee in a cup cause they have nothing to hide now do they?

It has happened here in Chattooga County at least once. There was a SPD “officer”(for want of a more appropriate term) who lived outside Menlo and was a known wife beater. The wife got enough and with bruised and swollen face reported the “officer” to the Chief. The Chief actually stepped up and fired the criminal. No investigation. No arrest. No loss of certification. And the Sheriff’s Office immediately hired him knowing he was a wife beater / criminal.
And then there was the “nanny cam” incident in Lyerly where several county deputies of various ranks raped a woman over and over until she got enough and filmed them with a nanny cam in flagrante delicto. The tape was given to the Sheriff at the time and other than losing their jobs no one was prosecuted and again there was no loss of certification by the criminals. And now one of the rapists has the unmitigated gall to run for sheriff.
If in either of these instances if the criminals had been non-le the pigs would have thrown him in jail, the local news outlets would have drug him through the mud, and he would have been prosecuted to the full extent of the law by the District Attorney’s Office. It’s a double standard and total bs. And the pigs want respect. What a bunch of arrogant a holes from top to bottom.
Don't agree with your name calling, but things such as this have happened multiple times in Chattooga County as far back as Gary McConnel days and further, just wasn't as open to being discussed as now days. And yes 98% of the time definitely take care of their own when laws are broken. But with more of them beginning to be under a mircoscope hopefully things will be more on the up and up at some point more accountability will start to happen, They will either have to straighten up or be in the unemployment line with NO creditials to just go work in law enforcement in the next co over and continue to abuse their Job there.

You cannot under any circumstances rape the willing.
BUT when you are in a position of authority it does change the circumstances a bit, AND was a straight up abuse by law enforcement on tax payers time and our dime.
