I am a Nationwide agent in another town in West Virginia. I personally know Vic and he is very professional and truly knows the insurance business. Vic leads other Nationwide agents in West Virginia in total sales continually. I just wish I had his ability to sell like this agent. Vic is an honest Christian man that can be trusted. He is a very good agent.

Yes I have been with them for 10 years and my insurance should have went down but instead it shot up to way more than it was and i'm really aggravated about it and I asked her why and she was like well we had a rate increase. I'm like whatever i'm thinking about switching to geico...
I suggest you call Vic personally, he can help. Vic is the most outstanding agent in our sales district. I have been a fellow Nationwide agent working in West Virginia with Vic and I know he can help you, please don't leave Nationwide Insurance to go to a out of town online company that will not be there for you.

I don't know what causes rates to rise in particular agencies, but mine went up 40% the last time. I had no accidents, no changes in policy yet had a huge increase. I had Nationwide insurance for 25 years but this time enough was enough and I went to State Farm and it dropped 60%. I don't know anything about how they determine their rates, but I know in this day and time, every dollar saved is important.
Like I said I am a Nationwide agent located in another town in West Virginia. You need to call Vic because rates did not go up 40% in West Virginia. Vic does not set the rates for his agency. I have a county listing for West Virginia and Nicholas Counties reates only went up 9.9%. Sometimes there are other reasons rates go up. Please call Vic he will help you. If you change for rate reasons you may be sorry, please think about your years of experence with Nationwide. Nationwide is a good financially sound company.

Like I said I am an out of town Nationwide agent and I heard about the vulgar vandalism to Vic's billboard. Vic truly didn't deserve this. This vandalism cost Vic a lot of money to get a new bilboard. Why would anyone do this to a nice guy like Vic. I personally know that Vic goes to bat for his policyholders, he is there in Summersville to help you save money. Please pray for Vic.

"Insurance agent". The comments were that people were changing from Nationwide to other vendors because Nationwide was overcharging and the rates were changing for no reason. The comments also stated that they were unprofessional. Good try though.
How do you know how many people are changing from Nationwide? Rates sometimes go up, but it is never for no reason. You couldn't be speaking of agent Vic Hughart in Summersville, I only wish I were as professional as he is. Vic is a pro when it comes to Insurance. I call Vic when I need information about insurance coverages and he always helps me find the correct answer.

Sounds like it's everybody. We pay ours monthly, house and vehicles together, and our monthly payment was up $25.00 last month. This month it's $50.00 on the month. I guess it would be good to discuss it with the agent and in the meantime, hunt for a different company. Then a person would change and that company would raise their rates. Can't win for losing!
I am a Nationwide agent from out of town and I agree with you 100%, you are a smart person. Some companies use low prices to bait you in then go up later. It is not good to change companies every time the rates go up. Afterall, the new company you go to will eventually go up also. It is good to establish a lasting relationship with a financially sound company like Nationwide.Call Vic and I am sure he can offer you discounts or something to lower your rate. Vic is a good man!I have known him for years.Don't allow these negative people to poison your mind.

I am a Nationwide agent from out of town and know personally that changing companies is sometimes not the best thing to do. I have had policyholders that left me to go to other companies to only get in trouble because they lost their years of experiance with Nationwide. Believe it or not Nationwide is on your side, and Vic hughart is one of our best agents.

<quoted text>I have had insurance through this particular agency for a long time, and unprofessional is an understatement. If you can get them to return a phone call ur lucky. If you can get them off of a personal call when you go in to talk to them, ur lucky. Changing your rates or explaining why a 10% raise costs you 40%, forget it. Too busy looking for someone with paint cans I guess.
I am a Nationwide agent from out of town and reccomend that you call Vic about not getting a call back. Vic will always call you back and I am sure he would appreciate it if he has a staff person that is not calling you back. Please talk to Vic he is a good agent and he will thank you for calling him.

Hey not scared, what in the heck are you talking about??? Or should I ask whom??? I know who you are....I also know you are slandering ...(Victory Hughart). Your a jealous person, you need to grow up, quit acting like a baby. No one cares what you have to say. Following people around??? Victory Hughart has alot more class than that, sorry to burst your tiny little bubble. Have a great day and remember NATIONWIDE IS ON YOUR SIDE
Fearless, I believe I recognize this person also, and I believe you are correct in his purpose. Is this the person with a quad cab Chev pickup that is always following Shirley Hughart around, the one that always has a camera pointed at Shirley no matter where she is?

Wow! Seems like we have a whole lot of self-designated experts out there! I guess everyone on this post has been through insurance training (sorry agents this is not to you, you actually have)- you all think you know so much about the industry- WRONG! Pull your heads out of your ass- stick to what you know best- stirring a pot and scrubbing a floor. Leave the insurance to Vic. Pretty typical for this day and time though- not shocked in a culture of whiney ass, I don't want to work or get off my lazy ass, give me a handout Obama, wipe my butt mommy even though I'm 40 kind of people. If you don't want good coverage and want a cheap bill which also means suboptimal coverage then don't choose Nationwide. Believe it or not, everything in life isn't free nor your right. Just because you are Christian doesn't mean you should have to give away a product for free. Pretty sure Vic can make it without you! Nice name poopandpee- that took some brain cells. By the way, pick on someone your own age- you know what I mean and who I'm talking to!!!!!!!!! Paranoia is a psychiatric disease by the way. For those of you who are jealous- why not go through insurance training yourself- scared? Also God wasn't even a push-over- check your facts.
