I'm just curious as to why there hasn't been any news, in the chronicle or on tv, about Little General and KFC being robbed. It's been a wk now and I've only heard from one person, who works at BP, about the robbery there.....Just wandering why nothing has been said about it. If there is a thief running around Summersville robbing stores at knife point, I believe everyone has a right to know.

I heard it on the scanner when it happened and wondered the same thing.

That's just a little too close for comfort, but it's bound to happen around here soon, because it is everywhere else. I saw on TV where they even robbed a nail place down in the valley. I'm really surprised that there haven't been more robberies with Rt. 19 going through S'ville and all the out of state traffic. When was this, day or night?? Ever notice that they never publish the stuff we really need to know about??

Even though theft has been around for thousands of years, it is getting closer to home. It's very sad, but that's what this sick world is coming to. I only pray for those that have been made victims of theft, not just for a business but for a persons belongings that many of us worked countless hours to get.

I just bought a chronicle and they managed to mention the robberies but they said that the guy was 5'6" and 180 lbs. the guy was easily 5'10" from the looks of the video and he was also wielding a butcher's knife. If I was to guess though I would say this will be another unsolved case. I don't even kno that they are attempting to catch the guy. From the report in the paper they don't sound too concerned. Fingers crossed that it doesn't happen again.

I guess it's another conspiracy..........wow.... people speculate too much. Why don't you investigate since you happen to know how to do it.? I just love how people think they know more than the professionals who have been trained to handle such things. People need to get off their high horses and stop thinking they know everything.

I never claimed to know everything or even how to "investigate." Its just a little troubling to me that these burglaries happened and nothing was mentioned until over a week later. I work in Merchants Walk Plaza and if someone was to come in on us there isnt much we could do, but had we known about them, we could have at least taken some extra precautions

It is a shame that things like this have come to be common here in Nicholas County. If they do catch the robbers, nothing will be done to them. Take for example, the person that robbed the Stop & Go at Keslers Cross Lanes with a pistol. He was caught, he admitted doing the crime and never was punished for it. Wonder how many people he had to rat on, in order to get by with armed robbery. I would probably get into more trouble if I put his name on here.

Its not the job of concerned to investigate crimes. That job belongs to the police and they really suck at it!!!!!!!!!
