Stedham does not impress me at all. He's part of the clan that runs Summersville and Nicholas County.
Why anyone would vote for this man (other than his mother or wife) is beyound me.

As a constituent who resides in the municipality where this man is elected to Council, it should be made public if he did lose his job or elected position and why.

Are you saying he lost his position on City Council or he lost his job with his employer?
I'm not sure that it is our business what happens at his job.
It is our business if he was given leave from his position on Council.

It's really no one's business on what happens in this man's life. If it is something that concerns the county residents, there would be something published in an upcoming edition of the Nicholas Chronicle. For now, everyone can quit meddling in other peoples' lives.

No that dumb paper will publish Mikes Christmas party at his personal residence ((like other residence dont have holiday parties)) But they wont do a article on why he was fired.

I meant that for the people concerned about anyone losing an elected position. If someone is fired or resigns from an elected position it will be in the paper. If it is their own personal employment status that has nothing to do with the county or it's residents, then they wouldn't publish anything since it's no one else's business.

Technically, ones personal and professional life do have a bearing on their elected positions. When a citizen looks to who vote for, they tend to vote based on knowing more about the aforementioned. As a result, if someone were to be fired or be involved in a scandal of sorts, it can have an impact even on their elected position.

Having said this, I haven't heard anything around town about Steadham having difficulties at work so it is unlikely there is any truth to the rumor reported here. He is pretty high up the ladder in the Ferguson Corp.

True, but the general community of the voters shouldn't be spouting rumors or hearsay. First off, it's rude, second, the truth seems to get twisted, and can end up hurting people's feelings or lives. If someone wants answers so bad that they'll post their question on this nonsense website, they should go to the source themselves.

Did you actually witness him getting fired or someone told you this is what happened? He might be getting a new vehicle from them and that is why he was turning things in.

Or maybe he quit..........There's many, many things that may have happened. My opinion?? NOTHING happened, it's just another ugly rumor started by another low-life, jealous dumbass.
