I'm not a union person whatsoever but, I'd strike on Thanksgiving. But, I'd be right back to work the next day.

Ok wal-mart isn't even open on thanksgiving so to the person who started this you don't know what you are even talking about. Wal-mart will open back at mid night for the beginning of Black Friday.

Yeah it is terrible that these unions demand fair wages. These people are slaves and dont deserve enough compensation to feed their families. It is shocking people would stand up for themselves and demand fair wages for fair work. I mean really, who do these people think they are? Let them eat cake!

as long as we stand with the union who cares if our familys eat, right? WRONG!!! I'm gonna get me a job if walmart employees strike! I'd rather be a working scabber feeding my family than a loyal union member starving my family. And you union biggies are just as bad as the wallstreet biggies wanting to fatten your wallets and forget about the little man!! You really showed that Hostess Company, now didn't you, who cares about the thousands out of a job, right? WRONG again!! I need a job!! and if scabbin is all there is then I'm gonna take it!!!!

I use to work at Walmart and it is always so slow on Thanksgiving. Walmart is only closed on Christmas. And I bank at Woodforest inside Walmart and its only closed on Christmas. So Walmart employeen you are open on Thanksgiving.

OK well then Walmart commercials says open at 8 pm thanksgiving night made national news also target and Kmart to name a few others and Pebble's took out an add in the chronicle saying there opening too Thanksgiving day at eight. Maybe our local Walmart isn't doing it. I would hate to work on it also puts pressure on shoppers who Have to save due to the bad economy!

Union people are not skilled enough to find other work. That is why they strike instead of look for a new job. How pathetic.

walmart in Summersville IS open. They are NOT closing! Sale starts at 8pm. But they are open 24-7 . Not closing at all.

The strikes have more to do with the warehouses that supply walmart than the stores.
