How many tens of millions are we going to spend in this county on un-necessary projects when we are in a recession that is killing our working class. Most folks here havent had a raise in years, that is unless they work for the county. And while salaries and proprety values drop, while unemployment rises and employers cut hours and benefits, local taxes go up, civil service salaries go up, we spend millions on sod, rebuild bridges for fishing, and in general bankrupt ourselves so that the TDC can get a good photo op, and some bubba can clear a cool million or two while his laborers make the same or less than they did ten years ago.
