She killed a man, maybe just maybe, she thought she was doing the right thing. Bet you've done something naughty yourself!, from your reply.

Dont you all realize this someone's dad, husband, son. Her actions are indefensible especially considering her driving privileges were revoked before hand.

this POS should had no right being on the road in the first place. Misdemeanor! Are you f@#$*& kidding me. Maybe I could understand a misdemeanor if she had stopped to see if he was alright instead of running like the cowardly trash she is.

It was not the store that called her in . It was someone that she almost hit in rear to Rockingham county Sheiff office.

Wow. You cycle jockeys are getting whacked at an all time high. Regardless of who's right or wrong, when YOU'RE the next one to get maimed or killed, will it really be worth it to you then?

Splat,

Maybe instead of giving up a hobby, drivers could actually pay attention. Or is that too difficult a concept for you to understand. Guess we should all sit around and get fat instead of getting a little excersize. You said "Regardless of who's right or wrong," what the hell are you even talking about. There is nothing right about some what this piece of trash did.

(sp.)exercise. Anyway, it may appear you could be a little narrow minded when assuming if you dont ride a bicycle as a hobby, then you are fat. I feel since it is a hobby, bikes should stay off NC roads. With exception if its the only way to get food, shelter, or work. I personally feel that's the only reason to ride a bicycle on roads and god be with them. You said it, "hobbys" are fun. But don't play in the road. That said, there's no excuse for this women to be on the road either. She should face the music for this tragedy. I'm afraid they will continue and it's sad.( I didn't mention the spandex out of respect)

Apparently, the only concept that is difficult to comprehend, is that bicycles and traffic simply don't mix. It's proven over and over at an alarming rate. There is only ONE absolute solution to the problem, and yet cyclist continually choose to ignore it. If you do not ride a bicycle in traffic, you will not be killed. PERIOD. There are also many, many ways to get exercise without the high risk of being killed, and you know this is true. The comment "concerning regardless of who is right or wrong" really couldn't have been any easier to comprehend, but let me try again. Is riding a bicycle in traffic worth getting killed? Disregard who'd be at fault, who'd have a legal right to be there, etc., etc. IS IT WORTH YOUR LIFE??? Well, is it? If you'd like to live a longer life, THEN DON'T DO IT, because you already KNOW the risks of death are highly likely, right? Lastly, I agree with you about nothing being right about what that driver did, they broke the law, and they should be charged accordingly. I'd still bet if that cyclist had it to do over, HE wouldn't have been there on a bicycle.

Keep bicycles off the highways!!! Go exercise on a bicycle track. I think I'll paint a shuffle board court on the street and start playing. I'll paint it right beside my basketball goal
