Just got back from my 6 mile run...best time ever! Thinking about all the Fatties gave me extra motivation. Hope you all had fatty bacon and eggs for breakfast. Gotta clog those arteries first thing in the morning. Remember, once on the lips, forever on the hips. Push back from the table, FATTIES. Eat your fruits and veggies. Get in shape...this means YOU.

I been to some great, All-You-Can-Eat restaurants around the Orlando area...pretty enticing, if your a big boy or girl.....Usually IHOP and Denny's also rule in obese world.....

All You Can Eat Pig Troughs....those are NOT restaurants... they are just death on a plate...a HUGE ENDLESSS plate. You FATTIES need to check out SALAD , VEGGIES and FRUIT. Don't eat anything else for the next YEAR. Thanks !

I'm with Skinny Girl on this one. 99% of the time, obesity is self-inflicted. Lack of impulse control, no will power, and no discipline are the main reasons for obesity. Maybe one in a hundred folks have problems due to prescription drugs or medical conditions, but the vast majority are fat because they can't stop shoving crap into their pie holes.
Did you ever see a big fat slob riding an electric cart in a store? What's wrong with walking a little bit? Maybe their azz wouldn't be the size of a double wide if they took two minutes to exercise. There are very few things that piss me off worse than seeing some orca at the mall on a scooter eating crap from the food court.

Wow! I can't believe how uneducated you are on this one. And yes, I swim, walk, run, jog so that I hopefully won't end up on one of those scooters because I like being mobile of my own accord. I do know people who have to use a variety of items to walk a large store.

I'm waiting for someone who is having surgery today. That is why I have some spare down time to goof around here. You have to lose weight before you can have this surgery and she lost the weight.

I don't eat at food courts in the Malls. The food isn't even appealing to me. I don't eat the crapola at movie theaters either. It's hard because everywhere you go, people try to entice you with food. I went out to eat with friends who were hogging down on loaves of bread, fettucini alfredo, etc. and managed to just eat about half of a chicken caesar salad and unsweetened tea. I can't even imagine eating like that. They tell you that you can just go on medications and then eat whatever you want. That isn't how it works...at least not for me.

There are other reasons for having mobility issues besides obesity. Wow. How old are you that judge every person with a cane, walker or scooter?

I don't eat at any of those Furr's all you can eat places or the places like Chili's and Denny's where there's basically nothing healthy you can access except some unsweetened tea and maybe a plain salad.

Anything over 155 is too much for me, but I look at health more than the numbers on the scale.
I am thankful to have my "Moby-Bility" ....

I did not comment on everyone who suffers with mobility challenges; just the ones who are so friggin' fat that they can no longer get around without a scooter. You really need a reading comprehension refresher as well as a training course on how to stay ON TOPIC.

Where did you get your statistics from? You pulled them out of your behind like everything else you wrote. I guess the lesson here is to skip over your posts as soon as I realize you don't have a clue what you are talking about. Obviously, your title was never Doctor. Your lack of vocabulary and use of slang should have been a red flag that you were just venting and have no real knowledge. I expected so much more with someone who posts as Darwin.

Bottom lineal: Florida needs to work on the obesity issue. It's funny that there are so many posters here who claim to live in Florida and claim to be thin or skinny. It's quite amusing.

I was not using scientific research; I was using hyperbole to make for more interesting discourse. Geez, do you need everything spelled out for you?

How long did it take you? Two miles is my limit, mainly because I get bored. I prefer to swim laps in the pool.

Like I have written, I eat fresh fruits and vegetables, lean grilled meat in appropriate serving size, and have deleted white flour and white sugar as much as possible. Now, when I see an obese person ordering a salad with mountains of dressing, two loaves of bread and pasta with a fat-laden sauce, I can't imagine what they are thinking. I might have eaten heavily in my 20's, but i could afford to and still weigh 122. I burned it all off.

I don't think eggs are that bad actually. I'd rather have protein for breakfast than sugar/cereals.
Add fresh veggies and make it an omelet.

There's a great deal of ignorance here about health, exercise and nutrition. It's hard to not answer, but the best policy is to skip over it without reading.
