When i was a little girl Jess used to agervate me and tell me that he was going to marry my mama,after my Daddy passed away.My God i would get so mad and i just hated to see him coming. Now i look back at it and laugh about it,Jess was a good man and their was noone that didn't like him that i knowed of.

Did he used to aggravate you about your ugly bow-legged boyfriend......becaue every boy he called little ugly bowlegged boy.LOL he was so funny.Jess's exwife died a couple of weeks ago.Her real name was OPal.Which I never knew till I was grown.He always called her Frog LOL.I always thought what a weird name to anme your daughter...Frog!! LOL.

jess had nicknames for everyone. he had a nickname for me and my husband and brothers.
at the ballgames he would holler run you bow legged thing.

I loved that man to death.He used to tell me when I was little"Honey you sure are bow-legged but your a purdy little thang"!He used to be at BOB SHAWS Auction ever time the doors opened.I remember one time,Jess was there him and another feller was standind beside the ole wood stove and Jess of course didn't care he liked to talk had a pitch to his voice kinda loud.BO got up and said to JESS"When yo get thru talkin I'll have a sale"Jess looked at him and told him"Well I'm a gonna talk till I get done then you can have your sale".I was little but boy I remember how people laughed and it made poor ole BOB so mad he could have popped a stitch.Jess would catch you not payng attention sometimes and come up to you and whistle in your ears.Boy I sure miss the good ole days and the people that have passed on that made all those years the best years of my life to remember.God Bless Them All.

Jess could kill more squirrels than anyone I ever saw. He could bark just like one. He would grab a bush and start shaking it and barking. squirrels would start coming from everywhere.
