Until we are able to secure our borders narcotics will continue to flow in to the US. The cartels move back and forth now with ease, additionally they have there own armies like the Zetas that have moved into the US. I do not see this as a victim less crime. The collateral damage of this epidemic is far reaching and causes countless problems in our lives and communities. Each and every one of us have been in some way have been affected by illegal drugs. It might have been a child, spouse, family member, friend or neighbor. Illegal drug activity goes hand and hand with all types of crimes that are directly related. Is the answer to lock everyone up and throw away the key, no, drug courts work very well, more treatment programs need to be established for people who do not have the funds. I believe the cost in the long run would be much more cost effective than by just locking people up. Another area is getting the message to our children early and often. There are several programs that do that, which if elected I will implement. More and more of our young people as well as adults are taking prescription meds illegally, this is a huge problem in our community. Itís in our schools and readily available in our county. I believe prescription drugs are more of a problem than street drugs in our area. As for the individuals who make and sell, I have no compassion what so ever. They should be punished and punished severely, they make a living by causing countless problems for our society at all levels. This is not just a law enforcement problem itís a problem for all of us.

I have been told that our drug problem in Murray County is under control. I find this tragic. Drug Enforcement will be my one of top priorities. I have the knowledge, training and experience to make this a reality I will work with hand in hand with local, Tribal, State and Federal Law Enforcement agencies to accomplish this task. I encourage you to go to the Court Clerks Office and ask to look at the Affidavits for Search Warrant and the Search Warrants filed by the Current Sheriff. These documents are public documents unless sealed by the Court..

You feel prohibition is working or would a regulation and tax be a more cost effective way I agree the cartels are doing unspeakable things because of the supply and demand driven black market

Does "Rajeanna Dixon", " Little Rambo " or "Racist" ring any bells Mr. Fullerton?
