That is the problem people think to much and dont listen to the facts... Yes people signed the petition for a Grandjury which they received, now the Grandjury came back with the same as the Med exam, OSBI etc. it was a suicide. The Grandjury seen all the evidence and came with that conclusion, they were people from this county just as the ones who signed the petition. The facts are the petitioners didnt like the investigation, thinking it was corrupt so they went out and received signatures from people from all over the county not just from Wynnewood because they couldnt receive enough, they received what they wanted from that (a Grandjury), the Grandjury then listened to 40 plus witness and looked at all the evidence and came to this decision..

Who are you trying to convince there, skippy? Seems to me, however you did it, you dodged the chair so you ought to be happy and go on. Your folks and friends did you a favor by clearing your name it would seem, did you ever take that into consideration? You got truck with your folks, take care of it with them. You ain't looking any more innocent, son. An innocent man don't act in this fashion. Stay away from that bottle. No good can come of it.

I respect the decision of the Grand Jury, but respectfully disagree with the findings. I also understand that it was an impossible and futile task for all investigative parties involved because law enforcement in charge on the night of Dec 10, 2008 did not collect fingerprints (from anyone or anything) and did not perform a nitrate test (on anyone or anything). They also did not treat the scene as a crime scene whatsoever (they let individuals, including suspects, freely come and go with baggage from the house). In closing, members of the DA's office did apologize to the family and petitioners on behalf of investigative agencies present that night because of the way the scene was grossly handled. This "lack of duty" made it impossible to ever have answers or justice in this case for anyone. On the night of Dec 10, 2008, family members alerted the investigating agencies present that night to concerns, but law enforcement agencies decided to do nothing (including the ordering of an an autopsy required by Oklahoma law in the event of a violent death). In the following days after Dec 10, 2008, phone calls placed to the WWPD were never returned. Questions will always remain infinite.

I agree 100% with Matt (#211)... We both were there that night, raising concerns to all law enforcement on scene. Law enforcement made the choice to do nothing, making it impossible to ever convict anyone without a confession. We are not in denial.. We just want the truth. Dad doesn't deserve to be remembered this way.. He was a victim of a violent crime.

We do appreciate the Grand Jury investigating... They were tasked with an impossible job thanks to the Wynnewood Police Department and Garvin County Sheriffs Department. This wan't a conspiracy against my dad, but a cover up by a few that enabled this to go down the way it did. I know the truth.. Dad was murdered. It would be easier on everyone if this were a case of suicide.. What we have now is an ongoing nightmare that will never end. I have yet to EVER hear any denial from who we think did this.

There are two groups; those who know Tom was murdered by the individual that was "intoxicated and passed out" and those who believe the family is in denial and that Tom took his own life.

No matter what your opinion is the same person is responsible for Tom's death!! JON

Jon pulled the trigger ending the life of the man that loved him, raised him and helped him out of multiple indiscretions.

Yes, Tom was depressed. Jon's alcoholism, lack of responsibility and narcissistic behavior pushed him deeper into that darkness! Mr "Intoxicated and Passed Out" you cared for no one but yourself!! You still do! Your actions disgraced Tom, embarassed him! Your lack of love for your father and family is testiomony to the kind of person you are!! Jon you have stolen from your own family, you are a thief in more ways than one, you took the life of Tom.

In truth the bullet that took Tom's life was fired by you, Jon..One thing both sides can agree on, whether you physically pulled the trigger or emotionally caused the trigger to be pulled, YOU did it!!

I have read all 205 posts that are remaining and have had the opportunity to read some of the posts that were removed as well.

I have come to a couple of conclusions about this forum as well as a few other forums that I post on.

1) Opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one and they usually stink.

2) People post without giving too much thought as to what their words will do to the Horton/Kile families.

3) Certain Law "Enforcement" Officers like to bully people around.

We need to remember that the families have the right to have the case heard in a neutral county. They have the right to keep pushing the issues with powers at a higher level than Wynnewood Municipal Court or Garvin County Court. They can appeal the Grand Jury decision to a state or federal supreme court if they want to lay out the money to do so.

I have not seen, even once, any of the family members bash any specific officer in this forum. I have spoken to one of them on the phone and he has no malice toward any officer, just against the way things were processed at the scene.

They will probably continue this fight to be heard, and I wish them well. The rest of us need to get off their backs and let them do what they need to do. If you disagree with them, fine, but stop bashing the family and close friends in an open forum.

This will be my last post on the matter and I will not be reading replies. I only hope the rest of you will do the same and let the Horton family have a little dignity back.

And I thought Wynnewood was just the home of a greedy ex wife (hopefully ex this time) and her spoiled, immature daughter. Sounds like y'all got more problems than that going on.

What happened to the evidence? Where is this evidence that is going to give this case new life?

What does bump it mean? The evidence is safe burried 6 feet in the ground at Wynnewood Cemetery.... His fractured fingers and temple scream of the altercation that occured prior to the shot gun... Personal guilt is taking it's toll on the perpetrator.... Just look at him, his conscious is NOT clean...

Bump it means to keep this story on his murder alive. People know who really killed him. Never let the murderer(s) rest believing the friends have accepted his murder as a suicide.

Chanda Turner's death certificate was changed today. Maybe Tom Horton's will be next. Tick tock.
