After reading the news article about this man being released back into society after such a brutal crime I have my doubts about wanting to visit your area EVER! How can families feel safe knowing your judicial system lets a convited killer free on "GOOD BEHAVIOR"? Is anyone going to stop this joke? Please set my and many others minds at ease. Return this man to the HELL he belongs in! Sign me a lost tourist. Janis Seybert

I am the wife of Nezzie Bourgeois' son, Gene, who passed away just recently. He was the one who found his mother lying in a lot of blood, on her bed, in her gown. He never got over that sight. Miss Nezzie was on oxygen, and could not defend herself from a knife in a the hand of a vicious killer. I represent 4 of her grandchilfren, 12 great grandchildren. I am happy that Mr. De Rosier is holding the DOC accountable at how they arrived at GOOD behaviour, to let this man walk free after serving less than 1/3 of his sentence. He confessed to the murder, but got manslaughter. Please, Lake Charles Justice system, think of the victim as you would your own mother.

Lake Charles is good at letting things like this slip through there fingers.
I believe that if you take a life you should get a life. Meaning long jail time or even the death penalty!
Like an animal. Once it gets its first taste of blood its gonna go after it again.
I hope this fool learned his lesson the first time and doesnt allow this to happen
again. What is this world coming to?!
I know of at least 3 murders in Calcasieu Parish that have been swept under
the carpet and im sick of it. Get off your ass and do your job people or its gonna keep happening.

Thanks,
A Concerned Calcasieu Parish Citizen

I just noticed this thread today. Yesterday I posted a thread about another In-Justice Murder of a 15 yr. old girl, Aug 21, 2003, Misty Lynn Guillory. This Murder started out with first degree murder charges, Confessions, DNA, no bonds and stands today, Charges Tossed by Prosecutor Wayne Frey, Case not in posture for Trial?

Wayne Frey has now passed on and so has one of the detectives in this case: Robert Magarity.

It has been 2 more years the investigators have had to find what ever more evidence is out there to put these murderers away. These guys have since committed other felony crimes and was able to bond out again, while under a murder bond?

I am following other cases in LC, today, too, that the Justice system is Failing miserably!
I am hoping some of you would be willing to pull together and see what we as concerned citizens and family members of Loved Ones can do about all of this. Anyone, interested, plz let me know.
Please visit Misty Lynn Guillory's thread and visit her site to see her photos and if anyone can help, please do.

My 15 year old daughter was raped by Devin Hambrick in DeQuincy 2 years ago...they just got him into custody this week. While he was out these 2 years, he raped, tried to kill someone, and held guns at the heads of other girls. Of course these girls are too afraid to come forward because he tells them that he will kill them. I have fought day and night for this grand jury indictment for two years. The city of DeQuincy allows things like this to happen by not doing anything about it, and now the DA's office fell on its face. I know exactly what you're talking about. We all need to get together and try to put justice back where it belongs...in the hands of the victims. Please add me to your myspace page.

Amen! And the three I know of were the KK's Corner murders. The real murderer will never go to jail.

What a sad situation our justice system is. We literraly do not know how to punish people. We protect the guilty and to hell with the victims, he will get his.

Of course, the CPSO's too interested in locking up nonviolent drug users and letting the hard core murders and child molesters go, or only giving them a slap on the wrist. I say no plea deals with these scums. How can they plea a murder to a nonviolent crime. There's more money in locking up drug criminals.

I am a cousin of misty lynn guillory and still till this day her murderers have not payed for what they did and are walking free not paying the price for taking a 15 year old girls life by brutally running over her and raping her. It has been 10 years. and it seems like no one is ever still looking into the case.

It's sad that favors were made in order for the guilty to walk free. It will all catch up with them sooner or later. Karma is a bitch.
