After reading this forum I am shocked what filth is on here! Have you heard of a term called Cyber Bullying??? I have read horrible things about CHILDREN! Leave these poor children alone and realize that cyber bullying is VERY common now! If someone read the filth on this website and killed theirself because of it YOU would be liable!! You will be found because it is not hard for the police to look your computer up! Stop talking bad about children, teens, and others! It is horrible to wonder onto this site and read about young people in such a bad manner. These are decent kids and people are knocking them left and right. Grow up and realize you are a cyber bully and if anything ever happens to someone that you write about on here you could be at fault! I am just very disturbed by the garbage that is talked about on this site! Take a stand and grow up!
Thanks for listening,
Woman Against Cyber Bullying!
What do you do? Do you just go to different topics, cut and paste the same stuff, so you'll sound better than everyone else???
You've made your point - don't have to post it everywhere. And besides, do you REALLY think you'll make a difference with these morons?????????
If you are going to cut and paste, at least rearrange the words a little so it sounds half way different.....

Well if Ed knew what the job paid when he took it and it was a full time job then he shouldn't have allowed his name to be drawn from the gold fish bowl. In other words he should not have taken the mayor's job if he did not want to do the job on the salary he gets. DUH you people logic here sucks even when you try to come to someones defense you suck at it.
I bet the three county commisioners that make around 13,000 a year didn't know that either. Because they all still work a day job as well. Wait a second, Don't they run the county like the Mayor runs the city?

The Mayor or Sullivan is NOT a full time job. It never has been and never will. Hell, you can think back to when Donnelly, Smith, Heape, or any of them---it never has been a full time job. If you look at the city job description, its not even described that way.
There is not enough work as Mayor nor money to make it that way.
And its kind of idiotic to keep blaming Hamilton. If the four precinct committeeman had been on the same page, she wouldn't have had to use the 'fishbowl'. By state law, she did what she was supposed to do. Blame those four committeemen in the city limits of Sullivan...

Mr Obvious state law had nothing to do with the gold fish that was the rules that the local democrat party decided on before the vote was cast. Show me in state law where it says we will draw one person name out of a gold fish bowl to take on top vote getter? What should have been done was a vote taken. Revote then low vote getter dropped. Take another vote drop lowest person. Then you would have had one last ballot where number one person was taking on second person. Now for the fact that they drew name out of goldfish bowl. Lynn Hamilton did not want Clint Lamb to be mayor. Bob (no read) Eble a democrat precinct committeeman would have voted for Clint Lamb had his boy been eliminated. So Lynn made sure the final vote was between Ed Eble and Clint Lamb where she could break the tie. So those of you that say Lynn Hamilton was following the law need to get a life. She was following the rules she set up to beat Clint Lamb.

You need to refer back to how other ties have been broken, in other counties as well as Sullivan. Lamb had just as much of a chance as winning as Eble did. Fifty fifty either way.

Your anger is misdirected...it should be at the precinct committeemen. If they had decided to vote for Lamb, then there would not have been a tie.
Grow up, stop crying, and get over it.

(if he would have acted mature, not gotten drunk and taken city property without permission - he WOULD be mayor)

And your telling me to get over it? That was 2 years ago and he paid for his mistake and now SULLIVAN is paying that we get "get over it". We are stuck with this egomaniac instead of somebody that would have worked ther butt off and has atrack record of getting things done!!! FYI the precent committee people did vote for him, he GOT THE MOST votes. LAMB 2, BOLES 1, EBLE 1, ORMAN 0. Should have been end of story. And then came the FISHBOWL.

Maybe went through the media circus?, bet your skeletons weren't on tv and the newspaper? Jail, cheating wife, divorce, probation etc. There is lots he went through that nobody knows and is really nobodies business. I will definetly vote for him again. Bottom line is this, he was the best candidate and would have done ten times better then what we got.

The grass is always greener...

Everyone keeps saying how great of a mayor Lamb would have been/would be. How do you know??
He didn't show great maturity and much sense when he was on the council. You can't say that he would be a great mayor, just like you can't say it about anyone.
You put your faith in people and hope they do their best. People put faith in Lamb, and he showed not only poor judgment, but total lack of regard for the law and his position. Thats not to say he has or has not been punished enough or would or would not make a good mayor.
But you have to pay your dues when you do something stupid. As the saying goes, if you dance to the music, you have to pay the piper. He'll get his chance. Just don't put him on a pedestal and 'be sure' he would have done better. You don't know yet....

Bottom line is you hate him. No matter what I say is going to change that. We should agree to disagree.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Libra

Don't hold anything in, especially an emotional burden. The only way to drown the past is to open the floodgates. If you've got something to say, come right out and say it. The only people who might be offended by your honesty don't really matter in the grand scheme of things anyway, Libra. Great changes flow smoothly through your day. When you take charge, everyone feels at home.
