Just wondering how the assessor that decided the personal property of the refinery was actually real estate as far as tax goes, thought that they could do that to JUST the refinery and not all business? Didn't they think that that might become a legal issue at all?
The state of KS seems to be run by complete idiots. They are either going to kill business in KS, especially in SE KS, or they are going to chase out property owners and then where will their tax revenue come from?

It was the Fertilizer Plant not the Refinery that has protested the taxes

You are right, my bad. Just refer my post to the Fertilizer Plant, although if the way they taxed them stands it will effect the refinery, along with ALL business' in KS won't it.
