Gang banging AND mistaken identity. What a double tragedy and waste.

Why wasn't the gang member who gave him the gun not charged with aiding and abetting?

Life for a life. Either the death penalty (the punishment I support), or at least life in prison.

He should get life. Hopefully he offs some other gang-banger in prison and gets another 45 years.

This man was a honorable human being who tried to steer a youngman from a life of violence and his good deeds will be taken in account in this life and beyond; my prayers go out to the family. We have lost a good man and another youngman's life is also, gone.
What will it take to turn so many young people lives around; because crime does not pay; it only destroy families, and communities.

wow all you are retarded, just because he killed someone dont mean shit, people make mistakes, but hey its life, there is hatred all around this earth no ones perfect, gangs are all around here, just because you dont know what his life style doesnt mean anything people, you dont know how they were raised, he couldve been abused and been an angry kid for all we know, not everyone in this world is perfect, thats how all you guys act like, EVERYONE HAS TO BE PERFECT

Exactly where in this story can you derive that a "mistake" was made? This was premeditated murder, and this little maggot should have gotten alot more than just 45 years. It's retards like YOU with all your lame assed excuses that actually enables these "walking organ donors" to keep commiting one senseless crime after another.
You're probably another s*h*i*t*stain just like the one in this story...and I'm praying that you'll get your OWN 45 years relatively soon.

There are millions of "real people" who are not quote "perfect" but we are not homicidal maniacs either. At least we "unperfect people" tend to want to strive to be better people and contribute something to society,as opposed to your little s*h*i*tstain friend.

i knew this young man before he was arrested. the community that he had grown up in not only encouraged violence but pressured him and other young men like him to commit murder, its sad that at the young age of 15 he didint see a life past the "hood" and that cost him his life. if he had grown up in a diffrent time who knows what he could of offered the world. so many young talented kids will never have the chance to embrace and share their talent and gifts to the world. but i guess it dosent matter, lock them all up right? their not our kids, they dont live in our communities, thats the problem.

ok well he was rasied the best a mother with 7 kids ciuld be raised. i am not sayin what he did was right but i grew up with tj. my mother was his teacher n the teacher of his brothers. what tj did was very wrong but it is not all his fault, many of the kids in our nabiourhood all where easly influniced by the money the gangs got and the girls that came with it. all he wanted to do was fit in and he was told to do it in all the wring ways. he was told he had no other choise and at 15 u dont really know any better. it was not another kid who told him to do what he did it was a grown ass man who told a 15 year lil boy to go out and kill. not him slef or his family who are good people and try to make the best out of everything. so befor all thebalme gets put on him think of the grown ass man who forced him to do it, he was only 15 years old!

the persoin who wrote tihs must not live any where like where we grew up it is hard to turn the streets away many did but also many didn't.and weather they are gangrelated or not they are still parents, he has a child that was born after he was locked up. so to say you hope he kills again is just as bad as you telling him to do it. it also makes you just as bad as a gangbanger. not saying what he did was right but to tell him to do it again dosent help eather.
