Police intercept delivery, seize pot and cocaine

Officers from the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team intercepted a suspicious package that was being sent to a home in Sturgis from Laredo, Texas via a local distribution company Monday.

Good Job Guys. Wish the article would give more information on how they came to be suspicious of the package. Was there a tip , did the post office notify them etc...

Also wonder if they will notify authorities in tx where it came from.

Why are we wasting the time to harrass people over drugs? Isn't it about time that we legalize drugs? This would reduce our prison population and reduce the cost of these drugs. It would also eliminate the high profits that the drug dealer now gets. Let the state handle the drugs like they do alcohol and tax it.

RIGHT ON! Lets legalize drugs so that I can stop paying 33.7% of my hard earned income to pay for these good for nothing drug addicts. Who will have wasted away the social security I have paid into for 26 years. Let them pay their own way in the world, instead of the lib dems who want to provide handouts to all those who just dont seem to want to be productive parts of the community.

Why work when the gov't will dilute social security and provide free insurance to people who get headaches and are recovering drug addicts or have social anxiety disorders. To list a very very few "acceptibel illness."

Oh yeah, lets refuse to provide social security disablity benefits or provide any health care to a 20 plus year auto worker who, was laid off a few years back. Who know has a rare infection and is blind due to diabetes. Whose wife, who was never a part of the American work force, and her 5 children have been told by the gov't "you dont deserve benefits." "You are on your own, figure out how to provide for your family while you are in the hospital for three months."

Legalize drugs so you all can drop out and pay for yourselves, and your issues. STOP TAXING ME!

I would rather be driving the freeway along side a pot smoker than a drunker. But, the officials we elect seem to think that driving unconsciously with your foot to the floor is safer than driving 10 miles under the limit and remarking how beautiful the flowers are. Ah, 'tis a fine world we live in, indeed.
