They should charge $10,000 per violation in the rich areas like Bel Air and Holmby Hills and take care of the deficit once and for all.

Tax the rich, and eliminate all parking meters! The poor and middle classes have been ripped off enough.

Issue $1,000 parking tickets to all cars that cost over $30,000 unless they are leased by a poor person who spends most of his disability check on a $400 per month BMW car lease.

No, the cost of the ticket should reflect the year and market value of your vehicle!

I suppose these Government Parking Enforcement officers will only add to the retirement benefit deficit the taxpayers will be on the hook to pay for.

Rather than squeeze the increasingly impoverished worker *("middle")* class further, why don't the corrupt politicians and their pals, the agenda driven judges, just reduce the amount of hard earned money and "in kind benefits" they are transferring to the politically active Thug community that keeps them in office?

We have a serious redistibution of wealth in this country involving robbing the private sector to give ever more money to the government workers. Between the fed state and local govts and the welfare collectors, only a minority of the money in this country goes to the private sector and the politicains and always scheming to steal more .

I recentt child seats are now required for kiddies under 4'9" , the height of some grown up women and that the fine for disobedience is a whopping $475.
Dont they steal enough of our money .
I also read that soon the parking meters in Santa monica will automatically go to zero when a car leaves even if there is an hour remaining . Santa Monica has a work force that rivals bell and El Segundo for being overpaid for doing very little and they want even more money . Santa Monica also has one of the highest sales taxes in the country . If you can buy an item somewhere else, don't buy it in Santa Monica.

Government workers need to be paid a decent wage. The problem is that the wealthy have far too much money, and the poor and middle classes not nearly enough! This totally unfair system must now be changed.

Good. We must encourage the Union operatives in City Hall to rape the citizen population in order to fund the most extravagant public sector salarys and benefits in American History. We voted for the union owned slugs and MUST pay and pay and pay for our astonishing political IGNORANCE.

Pay up Suckers........is the new motto for Villaragosa's soon to be bankrupt shell of the once great American City of Los Angeles.

Based on the cost of living in California, we earn a fair wage. If you really want to reduce the burden on the middle class, just get all of those rich 1% bastards to pay more!

Hey...I get it. I was glad you made alot of money. That was true before the crash. Now no one can afford such extravagant pay packages any more. Every one else had to adjust why not you?

Union Worker.

Yes. You are right. The 1% bastards are not really the problem. The problem is the majority of the 99% who are being supported by the increasingly impoverished minority of Americans who pay taxes.
