New England beat up on the Jets last night. And I can see the headlines now. "It's all TEBOW'S fault!"

Being reared in Beaver Falls I had the pleasure of seeing Joe Willie play in high school so will always be a Jets fan with leanings toward the Steelers.
Your pretty boy is over the hill and the demise is inevitable.
ALL playerrs demise is inevitable. Nobody plays forever. I was a BIG fan of Terry Bradshaw.

Look Antony, I'm POSITIVE the Jets WILL win a Super Bowl again. Maybe not in my lifetime, but they will.

Brady is not "my" pretty boy, he's just another football player. He wasn't a Prima Donna number one draft pick, or the 50th, or the 100th, or the 150th. he was drafted at number 199. He had the all American work ethic to become where he is. And his wife STILL makes more money than him. He comes in, does his job, and goes home.

My point is that during the past few weeks while the Jets were losing, everybody was blaming Tebow! Sanchez, while a decent quarterback, is over his head and yet they blame Tebow. And there was only one good coach named Ryan, and that's Rex's father Buddy. Andy Reid has stayed past his welcome at Philly, so maybe the Jets should hire him and he WILL make contenders out of them.

“Hmmmmmmmm!”

I wonder if Brady will ever beat Eli in the show! So far my boy is 2 up even after a few disappointing performances!

I have never seen both players on the field at the same time, so Tom will never beat Eli, nor will Eli ever beat Tom. Eli beat the defense, not the offense.

And Eli is a far better quarterback than Peyton.

I was a big Jints fan back when they moved to New Jersey. I was a fan when people were wearing bags over their heads at the games.

I was thrilled when, against the rest of my friend's wishes, they drafted a LINEBACKER! Oh no! We need another defensive player like we need a hole in the head. More boos when they took this unknown quarterback from Moorehead State college. WHO? Phil WHO? Trade yout number one pick for a running back! But LT stayed and Simms was every bit as good as I thought he would be. And I rroted for the Giants when they beat New England way back in the 80's or whenever.

But I now live in New England, so I root for the local teams. I don't live or die if they win or lose, I just root for them.

OK, now the Jets have a new Quarterback. And I hope he does well.

BUT... Again the press is all over Tebow! One columnist a Peter Schwartz, called Tebow a "loser and a phony" and went on and on about how bad a q-back ie is. ESPN analyst Merril Hoge went on a rant saying that he's "as phony as a three-dollar bill" and that the New York Jets didn't realize "how bad Tim Tebow was" when they traded for him.

After being passed over for Sunday's start, Tebow told the Jets he wouldn't risk his body for a losing team that didn't want him anyway. And, it turned out, Tebow was pretty smart: New starter Greg McElroy was sacked 11 times by the San Diego Chargers

Tebow didn't play, so how can HE be blamed for the Jets losing all the games?

He's going to Jacksonville. And I hope he wins the division just to spite Ryan and the New York press.

Tebow was a terrible mistake for the Jets... not a good fit for the team at all and his popularity/anti-popularity press drama was the worst addition ever to a team dominated by locker room drama and twitter trash talking. It messed with Sanchez's head big time and he has a seriously fragile pysche to begin with. The Jets made it worse by pulling Sanchez out and putting Tebow in whenever Sanchez did manage to start completing passes. Plus, Tebow was only used for one style of play so when the opposing team saw him they knew exactly what the Jets were doing and sacked the crap out of him. He never really had a chance. I feel almost as bad for Jets fans this year as I do for Eagles fans.

Lessons learned, time to move on. I think Tebow will be a much better fit and so much happier in Florida. That is his comfort zone, as far as both the team culture as well as geographically.

The Jets will probably continue to make major mistakes and have another terrible year. They're looking at Vick! A teenager on the couch who only knows video game football would do a better job than the Jets management. Whatever.. no one will be able to blame Tebow for the Jets suckiness nest year.

Not a Tebow fan by any means... in fact he irritates the hell out of me, but fair is fair. He was set up to fail in NY from day one and no reasonable person should be placing blame on him for this crappy year. Really, no one should be put in the position he was and the fact he stood up for himself and refused to participate in the BS i.e. "play" at the end of the year shows his confidence hasn't been severely damaged by this nonsense. Some players his age would have been totally broken down psychologically by now and if he didn't have some good games in Denver that may have happened.

Next year should be interesting.
