That does not prove a thing. Carbon levels are cyclical as indicated by glacial and interglacial epochs, well before man was even on this earth. Man has accelerated this interglacial period though with the way we abuse this planet's sensitive balance.

I just read a paper saying the possibility of another cooling period is upon us. The current that warms Europe is not doing a very good job lately.

I was doing a show in Albany a few weeks ago and a gentleman from London was in my booth. He said Europe was freezing this winter. He had never seen such bad weather, and he was in his 60s.

So are we warming? Not in the last 10 years, but are we now cooling? And is that man's fault too, like the "coming ice age" we all heard about in the mid 70s?

You have no proof for your ASSumption.
Even the latest "breath taking" report out of the journal Science via the University of Oregon, "A Reconstruction of Regional and global Temperature for the Past 11,300 Years" uses a temporal resolution of a 120 years. Unable to take into account the so called recent so called "hockey stick", which I presume is your hole card.
Come back when you aren't walking on all fours.

Again you show humor is not your strong point. Climate change is a scientific FACT man made/cause/'accelerated' climate change is a political myth.

The data on all previous climate changes is too sparce for science to even think that this one is any 'faster' than others. We do not know what the 'average' rate of climate change was in the past.

Just for the record. Having read both editions of Gores book and a number of other theories about global warming this is to be expected. Once the gulf stream slows or stops cold artic air will cover the northen land masses. This will result in what Gore called a 'reset' of the earth's climate and a regowth of the glaciers and artic ice. The only points of contention is how many years/centuries this 'reset' will take.

We now how long the interglacial epochs lasted in the past.

Ice ages are due to several environmental factors occuring at the same time (geological, atmospheric, astonomical, etc.). Ocean currents are only one factor and a very simplistic explanation of past glacial epochs.

Which has nothing to do with my post or the notion that global warming is man made.
