Homeowners should be aware there is a product on the market for protecting ash trees from EAB as well as other invasive insects. It just became available in August. The high concentrate, imidicloprid product is called, Optrol. Research shows that Optrol will protect all sizes of ash tree from Emerald Ash borer. Optrol is being sold at independent garden centers and other small retailers.
