Brunswick man assaulted

3 DUI's in 6 yrs is not along time ago, one every 2 years is not normal behavour. And 6 overall is criminal, in most states and certainly in society. Why do you think they confiscated his car for the last one?

I'm not trying to stick it to the guy, but on the other hand someone should quit trying to make him out to be some kind of saint.

But I do agree that both shouldn't drink because it seems as is they aren't cut out for it

All I am saying is that he could have 100 DUI's.
That does not give anyone the right to do what the son did.
The only justifiable way would of been if the son got attacked or hit. That did not happen.There was not a mark on him. There was not a mark on the fathers hands.There was not even any deffensive wounds on him. That shows me that he did not see it coming.This was not a fight between the two.This was a blind attack.The father did not see it coming.

I heard evidence was tampered with.....hope the mom gets hers as she is an enabler. Both need help...Father needs to stay away from crack whores and alcohol and set the proper example for sons and son needs new circle of friends and some serious counseling. I used to date father and he is a good man when he is sober.

Hopefully, the kid was just there to drag dad home.

I agree that he was blindsided and that should have never happened. Yes he is a good guy when he is sober. They should not drink because no good seems to come of either of them drinking. He just needs to remember he has 3 sons who love him and a grandbaby on the way. There comes a time in life when you have to realize that your drinking is harming yourself and the people around you.

I got a real funny feeling "not in Brunswick" is really Daniel's mother, I am sure it is. She is filled with hate. Father unfortunately will never learn as he has proven time and time again. Daniel will continue his leagacy. I almost fell for this guy.

Appraisit I know this family and I know that there are 2 sons who have a lick of sense. Unfortunately there are 2 in the family who are smart in books but do not have common sense. I agree with you former gf that the lesson has not been learned and hopefully that someday it will. As for the wedlock stuff you should not say anything unless you really know. As for the not in brunswick I am not sure that it is the mother of Daniel.

Well, no I'm not Daniel's mother but I have been watching this thread grow.

Now we have an ex gf posting who claims there was tampering with evidence as well , since people claim they know that it happened for a fact, they must have been there and if that is the case why didn't you stop poor Fred from being beat up? Or if they weren't there then I guess they really don't know.

Only two people know what happened and Fred had spent several hours in bars that day/evening so you know he was drunk and Daniel was with him for a bit that evening so he was probably buzzed as well, it surely sounds like no one will ever really know how things happened.

As for learning a lesson, rumor has it your bud was back at the bars again last week, this time with another ex wife though.

I was really wondering though, was this before the crack whores, during the crack whores or after the crack whores you were dating this guy?

I mean besides the alcohol, taking the kids to the bar and the crack you say he's an OK guy,

What I wonder is if someone knew that Daniel was snorting pills and then says that they love him, then why didn't they do something or try to stop him? and how can you put a great father and alcoholic in the same sentence? Fred may not have physically abused the boys, but the mental abuse was worse. You have no idea what these boys have been through, obviously.

If I was Dan's mom, it would be worse than hate. You don't know what she went through and what he has put her through. You didn't stick around, wonder why. You should just stick to what you know, which obviously isn't much.

Not in Brunswick you know quite a bit info there. I believe he would be back at the bar. I think it is sad that some people are so selfish that they do not think of how they are hurting the other people around them. Alcohol does not solve any problems you have. In this situation neither of them thought of what would happen and how many people they would be hurting. Also mee I know first hand what the older boy has gone through and I know what he is going through now. It is sad that he has to worry about his father dying someday because of the alcohol and his brother going to prison. He has enough to worry about now like his own life and their upcoming baby. I love the oldest with all my heart and it hurts me that someone his age has to be going through this because of someones selfishness.

Don't know any of you, but I would say "not in brunswick" really has it out for father. Sounds like she is defending son's actions...do yourself a favor ...get counseling...really. I re-read and while I will agree father sounds like he has a death-wish (crack-whores, alocohol abuse), he shouldn't have gotten his face bashed in and I am sure the boy will go to prison. Sounds like Father already has a life sentence.
