Good anesthesiologists must be hard to come by...
Nader A. Zaidi-Allen made his first appearance in Union County District Court on Thursday (3/19/09) on felony charges of aggravated assault on a family or household member, eight counts of aggravated assault, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of domestic battering third-degree. |

I read that article too. It didn't mention him being a doctor. How do you know this?
Well just say he was a doctor, but I'm sure that's all over and done with. Shame, he is a good guy, just goes to show some choices we make can be devastating for the rest of our lives.
is he still working at the hospital??

Go to http://www.mcsaeldo.com/physicians/index.php
and type "zaidi" in the search box |

that is terrible! he should be put on administrative leave at the very least!

I AGREE WITH CURIOUS. I PERSONALLY KNOW THIS GUY
AND IN SPITE OF WHAT THE NEWSPAPER SAID ABOUT THIS INCIDENT,HE IS A REALLY GREAT GUY. TOO BAD THAT THIS HAD TO HAPPEN. |
True, he is a great guy, but so are a lot of people on drugs. And I am not saying that he is, newspaper only said he had drugs in house, and I would hope we all have weapons to defend ourselves in our homes, if we need them. A frail 94 year old man would have been dead today if he had not had a gun for protection back a couple years ago when he was almost beaten to death in his home. Sometimes people just SNAP whether on drugs or not, who knows, I sure don't but I do know in God's eye one soul is just as important as another, He be our final JUDGE.

It's not there???????? |

It was there on Monday I saw it,
Sure it was...and Bigfoot was walking down Calion Road, just past the Mason's house too. He asked me for a ride to the Hurry Back. |

Look at it like this--- If you were the hospital, and one of your doctors was accused of such a thing, would you leave his name up on your website for everyone to see. They are probably so thankful that the anesthesia people are not employed by the hospital directly, but by an outside company. His name still shows up on the state medical board website as holding a valid Arkansas license. |

Druggies and dealers have no socio-economic limit, do it wrong and do it long enough, just the mere fact of the law of average catches up with you.
Who are you guys to judge, I feel sorry for the people of your town. you may loose a great physician who saved many lives and provided great care. I bet he sacrificed more and worked harder for the well being of others than any of you high and mighties |
I don't think anyone is judging him, just opinions on the situation. He is a great doctor and feel he may have just got caught up in the minute and possibly snapped, who is to say. And I agree, El Do has lost a fine MD, I hope he just hasn't blown his career by his indiscretions. I am wishing him the BEST.
Another example of someone who really thinks we don't look at the things other people do and judge whether what they do is acceptable or not. We judge the level of offense, and the postion the offender holds. It's part of knowing right from wrong, and that wrongs that hurt (in this case physically), are bad. Working hard to achieve goals should be balanced with continued smart choices. |

Would you really want the person putting you to sleep for open heart surgery to have been accused of doing illicit drugs and shooting at his domestic companion? Even if found not guilty, he has still lost credibility and trust with people in the community. It wouldn't surprise me in today's litigious society to hear someone bringing a lawsuit just because he was the person that put them to sleep and they now have something like memory loss.
And yes, he is a good doctor, very good at what he has trained to do. Unfortunately he will probably never work in this state again. |

Nothing in my post is judgmental, only my opinion for anything that is wrong, like I said do wrong long enough (whatever it may be) and the law of average catches up with you. Sorry for your friend.

A criminal practicing medicine? Who would've thunk it?
