Hey what about TG&Y store. I used to skate at Old Hickory Skating Rink. Trudie was the womans name that ran it. I miss the mall being full of stores. Wish it was full again. Gas is too high to have to go out of town to shop.

I have never eaten a pizza that wonderful since & I've tried them all over several states. That place was THE BOMB! |

I do remember Coleys! My grand parents lived on Parkway in the early 70's (back when it was a nice clean neighborhood) and we would go down and pick up burgers and frys at Coleys,..so good! I think they tore that building down didnt they? was'nt it it directly behind where Dominoes is now or where it Dominoes parking lot is now |

There was a MinuteMan that turned into a Johnnys Pizza, later the same site held a Shoneys and now its Super Number One Chinese Buffet.
The empty Hunans building started out life as Long John Silvers. There was an Old Fashioned where Andys is Now Old Mexico was Kens Pizza Parlor then Mazzios Pizza There was a Furrs Cafeteria in the Mall (now called the Hall) there was a cafe in Woolco in the mall Giles Catfish Corner was once Hokeys Jack of Diamonds was on 5th street The Bowling Ally on the Avenue had horrible parking. EL Taco Pronto was next to Antoons |
