Pontiac residents worry about park's safety after shooting

Resident concerns over the safety of Pontiac's Fell Park area were brought to the City Council after the July 12 shooting at a nearby grocery store.

Kinda late to worry about that park now.
"Rumor has it" that ten years ago guards from the local prison went there are filmed various gang activities including drug trafficking, but the police at that time were only interesting in threatening to trump up silly charges of public intoxication against them to get them in trouble with their jobs.
The big surprise is the park hasn't more trouble than it has been. Maybe informal drugstores stay quiet as long as the police aren't interested?
