i'll bet someone from that power plant picked her up on the road. thats where the police should start searching.

Given the impact from the crash broke her husbands back in more than one place, she may have a temporary memory loss and was picked up by someone. Worst case, she may have been hit or fell off the side of the road and they just haven't found her yet.

I don't think she got very far at all. I believe she barely got to the edge of the road and collapsed. Perhaps the blade of the snowplow picked her up and dragged her body down the road.

I would take snowmobiles and canvas the berm on both sides of the road for several miles in each direction.

The odds of her surviving the car's impact are slim and of someone picking her up for nefarious means even slimmer in the middle of a blizzard. She died at the crash scene and the body will be found within 20 feet of the road several miles away when the snow thaws.

Hopefully just people that want to help and the authorities read some of these posts and the information is used for the good of the case. I worry that some people do not use info for the good. Hopefully today will bring some news for the family. God bless and have hope for the family.

The snow was the night before on Friday into Saturday. I made a snowman with my grandaughter on Saturday morning. It was packing snow. The roads were still icy but no blowing snow that Saturday night. She was in a bright red formal dress. She would have been seen by now because we also had rain a few days later, melting almost all the snow. I think she lost her slipper and was picked up by someone who told her to get in their car from the cold. Weirder things have happened. I pray for her 4 girls in this season that is supposed to bring joy which now forever will be marked by sorrow for them.

i bet you anything that she walked approx 1-3 miles before succuming to her death either from internal injuries or freezing to death. i think that the wolves or coyotes found her and drug her body off to a wooded area possibly??

That is entirely possible that she wandered off and fell into the ditch. I hope she is still alive, but hope seems to fade. She could have been abducted, these things are rare, but do happen. Those in G.Ridge remember the Koetz case in the late 80's.

This is the strangest thing not being able to find this woman's body. I can't imagine amounts of snow that would conceal a red dress.(I'm in Fort Worth)
I keep checking every few days for news.

I guess Fort Worth doesn't get much snow. A snowfall of 3 or 4 inches can result in drifts of 12 inches or more which would be deep enough to cover a person.

Still no news on finding Mrs. Shannon. Local reports are that the search will resume on Monday. There may be some volunteers out over the weekend. Much of the snow cover was melted by warm temperatures and nearly an inch of rain on Friday.
