Oppenheim Ephratah St. Johnsville Central School District

Tonight the Oppenheim-Ephratah Board of Education appointed HFM BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Patrick Michel as its interim superintendent. Dan Russom remains on paid administrative leave. At this time Dr. Michel assures parents and members of the public that the circumstances surrounding Mr. Russom’s leave, and the leave of Mr. Christopher Fatta at the D.H. Robbins Elementary School in St. Johnsville, are not related to students or any financial improprieties

Oppenheim Ephratah St. Johnsville Central School District

As of Thursday, Jan. 31, Oppenheim-Ephratah Superintendent Dan M. Russom and St. Johnsville Elementary School Principal Christopher Fatta were placed on administrative leave until further notice by HFM BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Patrick Michel. Further information will be released if and when appropriate.

This is what happens when you treat everyone like they should lick your shoes, and put up with derogatory remarks, that you think are cute.

Removed for SEXUAL Harassment! Go getem tiger !It took complaints from St Johnsville employees to expose him.No one would believe the Oppenheim employees because he had the board in his pocket. He ruined the lives and livlehoods of many OE employees with his bull---- for years. Shine the light there will be plenty more to come.

Superintendent and principal placed on administrative leave
By: Web Staff
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, N.Y.-- The superintendent of the Oppenheim-Ephratah School District, as well as an elementary school principal in the St. Johnsville district, have been placed on administrative leave.
The move to place Superintendent Dan Russom and St. Johnsville Elementary School Principal Christopher Fatta on leave was announced on the Facebook page of the merged Oppenheim-Ephratah and St. Johnsville School District.
Officials did not offer a reason why, saying only that further information would be released "if and when appropriate."
Before taking charge of the St. Johnsville Elementary School, Fatta was the principal under Russom at Oppenheim-Ephratah.

people did listen to them and then half the school transfered because they fought against the merge and didnt want better things for our children. Things are looking better now! Thank you yes voters.

Glad you think things are looking better now. But I hardly think the parents who moved their kids out of the school didn't want better things for the children, that is a typical yes voter remark.

I don't get what you are saying. Kids left because they wanted more and OE wasn't giving students what they needed to be productive in life. Now with the merge classes will be added, friends will be made and the school will be saved! RULES WILL ALSO BE FOLLOWED NO MATTER WHAT FAMILY YOU COME FROM OR WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE!

People should be Leary of this Michel guy. He's an egotistical transplant from downstate. Nothing like trying to ruin the lives of two good people. Oh the joys of local politics.

If I were Mr. Russom, I would tell all you ignorant
dipsticks to get your heads out of your butts! You don't want or appreciate a quality superintendent? Buy out his contract. Then he can walk away and forget trying to educate ignorant trailer trash who seriously don't have a clue. Good luck with Michel....you'll need it!
Sorry

Sorry these two guys are done, they may sue Fulton county, but they are done in these districts. These are new days, you can't tell women they look hot or you are available, if they are, when they work for you. Stupid is stupid does.

Russom and Fatta are too good for this district. These two schools are doomed. Russon will retire and
Fatta will move on to bigger and better things, not before both will secure a huge buyout. Good luck to OE/St.J scumbags.

From my understanding, Mr. Russom made a comment intended to be disengenuous and charming which fell flat. I guess the ugly, fat, hags that work in this district are not used to receiving positive affirmation. So in their little tiny pea-brains, if they don't get it, the comment must have been heinous.

Walk away from this backward bunch of losers, Mr. Russom, and don't look back. I now have my doctorate thanks to the programs you put in place at Northville and I say you deserve better.

Such an intelligent statement. Let me guess you're also a member of the "good ol boys club" along with the two of them. Now let me ask you this question- what if your mother/sister/ significant other had been in that room??? Pea brain indeed- you cant fix stupid.

Actually, I am a member of the "Women Who Have High Self Esteem Club". Perhaps what Mr. Russom said fell flat but the "HillBilly Trash" have been gunning him for a quite a while. I'll bet my pretty little brain that these same women who purported to be offended drool over the Chippendales and Magic Mike. Get Real.

This was a witch hunt. Anyone who knows danny and chris, know they are good guys. Big D will be fine I worry about Chris. Kind of surprised a St. j teacher would do this, but that's what big money will do. Anything to gain the attention from there husbands, or what we here....ex-husbands.
