Jim Mellick's little sister. I remember going to the Melco dances and watching my brother and the band play. The most mememberable was when Kenny Sinner was with them and they put on a skit of "there coming to take me away, hee hee, ho ho, ha ha" and packed Kenny off of the stage in a straight jacket. Dick Lee used to be our neighbor in Lemoore. He was big on model airplanes and flying them. I remember the guys always practicing and was so excited when they went on Shin Dig, all of them shaved their heads. Hey Dick and Ken would love to see you guys again. Wished I were there for you big comeback. Penny Ray, Jim's little sis Libby Montana

Penny -
It is great to hear that some individuals remember the Melco Dances and the Brymers. the Btymers just finish a great week in the studio laying down 13 original tracks. Your brother, Jim, wrote to of the songs. Go to the web site: 60sgaragebands.com and click on "News and Nuggets" then go to Feb. 9th. A complete band bio is there from Mike Dugo. The Brymers will probably be playing for a Melco Dance in October, 2007. Please contact me: rleekgb@comcast.net.

I saw in the Sentinel online today that The Brymers were going to play soon in Lemoore. I missed the Melco Dance Reunion. How was it?
Jim Mellick......do you remember "shy and quiet"
Alice McCord? We usually had home-room together
( A-B-C ) order of last names....and didn't you march right behind me in the '63 graduation line?
I don't think I've seen you since.
Good Luck to the whole group. Alice

Hey Dick, thanks for the chance to play with Saturday. It was a real treat to perform with The Brymers. Although, I was out of the loop back then, it sure felt great to be a part of the history. Thanks for your kindness and awesome musicianship!

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Virgo

You're finally at your best after relaxing and catching your breath for a moment. Now that you're rested, it's time to do some of the things you've been putting off lately. Make a sudden appearance to surprise someone from your past. No matter how many new people you meet, don't forget that old friendships are the glue that holds the relationship cycle together. Keep in mind that a present doesn't have to cost much, as long as it comes from the heart.
