Cynthia George is as close to pure evil as I've ever seen. The fact that she's walking the streets shows the disparity in the Justice System between the rich and poor. I feel sorry for her children.

Believe me, the pain that the Georges surely suffered while writing that large check is nothing compared to the pain Cynthia faces on her judgement day. What a despicable human being. We'll not set foot in the Tangier ever again.

It really is difficult to argue for the American sense of fairness & justice with regard to our Court's and the jury system when the rich can buy their way out of jail, or the celebrities (such as OJ ) can get away with murder......another tragedy of the inequalities that still exist.....this woman has destroyed many families due to her infidelities, let us hope that justice exist in the hereafter !

This is what is called Hush Money. Until you have money, and I mean, own your own jet money, you will not understand. This amount, is nothing for the George family. Ed spends more, with his bookie. The revenue from the vending, that he controls, at Canal Park, more than pays for this alone.

I would like to add that I hope most people in Akron realize that the George family is large and that Ed and his wife Cindy are only a part of the family. The Georges I have known for 30 years are wonderful, hardworking people who have given more back to the community than the average Akronite realizes. Please limit "judgement" regarding this scandal to Ed and Cindy George, as their wrong doings have no bearing on the rest of the family.

YOU ARE EXACTLY RIGHT! Cindy George is nothing less than a cold blooded murderer. She was a whore that got wrapped up with too many men and had to dispose of one. It just goes to show you that if you have money, you can buy your way out of anything!

Guess that's why they don't call this place Paradise. At least Sinful Cindy's stuck with the fact that, with each passing day, she's closer to that Final Judgment.

I am disgusted. Part of the statement made by Ed and Cindy George, through their attorney, Orville Reed(shame on all of you), said " The emotional toll paid by their children BECAUSE OF THE CRIMINAL PROSECUTION OF THEIR MOTHER and the attendant publicity far exceeds the crushing financial expense of defending that case and prosecuting a successful appeal"
Are you kidding me?!! I get that you (Cindy) are not going to admit guilt for the Zack murder, since only you and God actually knows what happened(and He's waiting to discuss it with you in person). But, c'mon, you don't think your indiscretions,(affairs with 2 men, that you admit to; fathering a child with one)are part of the "emotional toll" being paid by your children and family? You are blaming the justice system (and I use that term loosely in this case) You feel no responsibility?!!!
Are you not accountable for anything??
You are just another sad, sad example of a society that scares the hell out of me-- Everything I do that is good is because of me and everything that is bad is someone else's fault-
I seriously don't know how you sleep at night, but I'm sure you do. Probably quite comfortably on a mattress filled with money that you hope will continue to buy your way out of every problem you create and every law you break (sounds like that song by Sting) while those less fortunate will pay for their sins here on earth.

I must have missed people putting down the rest of the George's....Aside from Cindy and ALL of her indescretions.....The George Family is WONDERFUL!!! Akron would not be what it is today without them. Power to the Grape Leaves and Kibby!

Sad thing is that her kids support her in every way... Watch the special on A&E "who whacked zack" it's on every now and again and i think there is another type of documentary with an in depth interview while she was still in jail and her children are pleading for her freedom.

Sorry, I don't know the entire George family, only Cynthia and her loyal husband. We all know what Cynthia has done, but her husband has issues of his own. All the crooked business that goes on in the Tangiers is what makes Akron so pathetic.
