Well then why don't they go ahead and also propose that when the city throws the snow off of the road onto the homeowners property, they shall be fined as well?! This is absolutely ridiculous.

The penalty for being caught is much too harsh!

the sad thing about this is the snow plows throw the snow from the roads into our driveways, and we have to shovel the snow b/c we dont have plows, so maybe the city should start plowing everyones driveways, then they can put the snow where ever they want and every one will be happy...

I totally agree with throwitback. I have to use a shovel and spend hours cleaning out my driveway just so they can plow the snow back into my driveway, they also drive so fast the knock over my mailbox which is off the road per where the city says it should be. there are far more things they need to focus their worries on, other than where the snow lands.

And yet, they are allowed to plow 2 foot tall drifts behind our vehicles and into the ends of our driveways (which is OUR property, not city property) without any problems.

My cars were buried to the back bumper and the streets STILL weren't clear after the plows finished up. Too bad if they don't like me throwing the snow out of my way and into the city easement or the street.

I hope the time and effort to research/propose/pass ends up with a dollar amount less than the equipment they're trying to protect.

Really? Look what happened to the City of Heath when it voted behind closed doors to put in the red light & speed cameras SR 79. Guess what.. They were tore out 6 months later. Thats a great win for the public to not stand for local municipalities finding ways to steal more money from the public to cover their overpaid salaries.

All ordinances need to be put on the ballot and voted on by the public if any fines are imposed by the ordinance, PERIOD!

This will circumvent the scrupulous mentality of local governments in Ohio.

MIKE, YOU IDEA TO SEEL THE GOLF FACILITY IS AN OK IDEA PROVIDING YOU STIPULATE THAT IT MUST BE MAINTAINED AS A GOLF COURSE. SHOULD A DEVDLOPER GET AHOLKD OF THAT PROPERTY I AM AFRAID THAT IT WILL CAUSE FLOODING ON THE EASTERN PART OF THE CITY. ONCE YOU GET ASPHAULT AND CONTRETE ON A LARGE PORTION OF IT, THAT WILL REALLY INCREASE THE STORM SEWER LOAD IN THE EASTERN PART OF THE CITY. YOU GET THAT AREA DEVELOPED AND A BIG DOWNPOUR WILL FLOOD LARRYS STABLES AND ON DOWN TOWARD McDONALDS. EXPLORE ALL OPTIONS BUT THE BEST IS TO KEEP IT A GOLF COURSE.
