That is right Chad & Jane. If you try to make a good place out of your town, it will be. You have to care a little. Even if you don't have money. It don't take money to clean your place up. I lived there for four years and move to St.Louis. It would be great to move back.

This has two parts to it.

Wow, that was an awful lot of information to try and filter through, but lets give it a try.

1st--The 20,000 dollar judgement is absolutely correct, except for the fact that the business was bleeding money every month it was open, according to some people in Warsaw that are involved with this. They were renting the building, not buying. They had to sign a 5 year lease. When after a while they had to close the business, they were charged for the whole 5 years. So, I understand your argument, but I can also understand not having 20 grand around to pay a lease off.

2nd--The whole cussing incident was well discussed other places and I know for a fact that the Principal and AD went to the coach and told him, if you want us to punish him for what he did, write him up. See I know this because the coach actually told me that he was just happy to have him gone and wanted nothing more to do with him. No Principal, or AD are going to get involved in locker room situations unless the coach is first involved.
I can tell you that the sexual comments were also investigated thoroughly by the Principal, the teacher in the class, and the resources officer. Not one of the girls said he said anything bad to them, so where is that coming from? I am asking because I found nothing on it but rumor.
3rd--The Principal is leaving to be an Asst. Superintendent this next year, and then Superintendent the year after. It had nothing to do with the "position" he was put in. He'd be a fool to pass that up.
3rd--I wish I could say that I thought the coach that was fired was a good coach, but I cannot. Having been around sports all my life and watching this guy coach, I didn't see that. First, in 5 of the 6 losses we had, we had the lead with 4 minutes to go. We lost them all!!! I was told by an older coach, watch a close game and you can see if a coach is good and his team is disciplined in the last 5 minutes. Well, using that criteria he was not good and his team was unbelievably undisciplined. We lost to every good team we played. Then lost to Plato in the semi-finals of district. We lost to Laquey by 2 and 3 I think and to Miller by 4 or 5, and both those teams were in the Final Four. If he was a good coach, he would have, and we should have beat both those teams.
But, for the sake of this argument, lets say he was a fantastic coach. What can you say about the fact that he has no teaching degree, was denied a provisional certificate by the state (which makes it illegal to have him coaching), the school board got rid of all non-certified staff, he was the last PE coach hired and he was uncertified that made him forst to go, left his gym unattended, left the weight room unattended, ordered t-shirts that were pep club shirts, but left off the cheerleaders and girl's basketball players, even worse he never paid for them, ran a camp using the Stoutland gym and pocketed the money (which is illegal), had a non-certified guy sitting on the bench and coaching after he had been warned repeatedly about it, was cocky and arrogant to other coaches, ran the score up on teams in Jr. High contests, told the Jr. High that he did not want to even coach them and if he would have known he had to would not have taken the job, did not practice the Jr. High for a two week period, called a Jr. high kid the stupidest player he has ever coached, played 3 ineligible kids during Jr. High season and 2 ineligible kids during High School season. I know coaches that have been fired for a whole lot less.

4th--The one thing I could not disprove is the stuff about the Supers wife. I was told by some teachers that she is at school alot to get the concessions ready and only 1 time has she had an argument with a teacher. I could not find anything out about hate mail and all that so i will take your word for it.

5th--The real tragedy of this all is that our kids lost two other coaches that cared deeply for them. I mean the girls basketball coach had minumal talent and had a good year. The baseball coach, lost 8 seniors and they still went to the quarterfinal I think that is what the paper said. That shows that those two people can coach, care about the kids, and make their kids work hard. But, not to leave anyone out, we also lost two or three other teachers who were very good teachers.
I would say that there is probably enough blame to go around for everyone, but it is not 1 or 2 peoples faults. This was started many years ago. This board has completely ignored the sentiments of its teachers, its community, and have destroyed our school.
As you can see I have done my homework and unlike others, I do not post stuff unless I have first hand knowledge. I have talked to probably 50 people, that is why it took so long to respond. I checked out your claims and wanted to provide everyone with as much truth as I could come up with from both sides of the argument.

Personally, there's absolutely no doubt who really screwed the school over, the school board. Anyone in their right mind would have never hired the super and her husband had they done a little research. Same goes for the finances. One long time board member campaigned heavily against a tax levy years ago from simple greed. The levy would have had the community's taxes at a normal comparable rate with other schools, building a surplus of funds that would have taken care of the current problems this school faces in a dismal economy, thus keeping the school's head above water. The fact that none of the other board members possessed the knowlege or foresight to see this coming or the spine to fight for the levy sooner than now shows a need for an entire new board. Stoutlands problems wont be completely solved with a new super, but i believe it will help. They need new board members.

Thank you "Sick of Drama" for explaining the truth in reference to our school. Do I need to mention (Admin & wife) the destruction they have done in the previous schools they were at before moving here? Until this administration and wife leave Stoutland, the school is in grave danger. They don't care, they will just move to the next unsuspected school while we remain with trying to pick up the pieces.**A good coach was run off by them, we have a new one, hopefully this one won't be pushed around for our kid's sakes.*

Coach Williams was a great coach and I hope nobody pays any attention to the lies that have been spread about him. I am not a ball player, but I am a student at Stoutland school. I always hated school and HATED P.E. but after Coach Williams came to Stoutland ..I actually liked school and P.E. He always made everybody feel like they belonged, he was a teacher who actually cared about ALL of his students, not just the athletes.

LOL! Wow, if there is anybody that reads what "ohthelies" posted in their last message...and actually believes any of it, PLEASE leave your number, message me, or something, anything, "I have a bridge I would like to sell ya!"
People, put your boots on when you read a post by ohthelies, it's gettin deep! LMAO!!!
I would comment in a serious manner, but most of the community already knows the real truth, and most of the parents really would like for this drama to end. I am told that with the old baseball coach gone, it will get better. That he was the cause of alot of the problems.I have since learnt that to be true. Let's all just move on and drop all of the lies and nonsense and do what's best for the kids at Stoutland!
