I already have Medicare part D with Silver/Script $250.00 deductible $32.70 per month premium. I feel I was threaten into taking this because of the penalties in years to come. Medicare's premium for part A & B and the deductible go up every year. Social Secuirty just does cover this increase.
My question is: When the part D premium and deductible start going up also how am I to keep up since my social security will begin to decrease each year?
I am 67 years old and can no longer find work to cover this additional cost. I worked very hard for 47 years the other 18 I was in school trying to get an education. My father died when I was 11 so I was not able to go to college. This system is not working for me and I believe I am not the only one in this situation.

I signed up for SilverScript's premium plan in Dec. This plan showed "0" deduct. and $10 copays. I did everything, including assigning my payment to be taken from my disability payments.

My first scrip of 2007 shows full price of $150. I called a SS customer aide and they said I was out of luck until next year. I checked my emails and never received of confirmation #. Guess its ok for them to make mistakes but we have to be perfect.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Mike
