Depression of wages

According to the final report of the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform, immigration, particularly illegal immigration, has adverse consequences, such as helping to depress wages for low-skilled workers and creating net fiscal costs for state and local governments. More and more, immigrants are filling jobs once held by American workers.

Not just low skilled workers but high skilled as well. I was making around $45/hr in the mid 90's in finish carpentry, then the illgal scum showed up and my wage dropped to $20/hr, if I could get work. People say its competition, OK. Lets get some illegal doctors, or lawyers, or better yet some illegal politicians and have them replace their American counterparts, then lets see how long this bullshit will go on!!

I called my local paper, The Morning Call, with a billing question. I asked the customer service person, where they were located. They said THE PHILIPPINSE. I immediatly canceled my paper. Dont tolerate this job outsourcing and importing of workers. THESE ARE OUR JOBS!!! Let business know how you feel.
