....and we all worry about the small stuff. That little girl has more courage than 99.99999% of the people I know.
God Bless.

Well said, these adoptive parents are beautiful people and this little girl had more strength then I ever will. RIP Sweet Baby.

She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Others centered!

We can continue to pray for many other adults and children stricken with this disease.

I met Krista and her mom and her little friend one day less than a year ago. They were collecting money to help children with cancer. I couldn't say no to her (who could?) and I quickly contributed to Krista's cause.

She was a beautiful little girl and I told her so. She smiled at me. Mind you, she had no hair, but to me she was a beautiful little girl. She was wearing a pink dress and I told her how pretty she looked in pink, she liked that.

The last time I saw her I had to turn away so she wouldn't see my tears. What I would have given to make Krista and all the children who have been stricken well again.

She was a dynamic little girl, full of life and such a sweet young lady with a sweet smile.

She was loved by all who met her.

May G-d Bless Krista and her wonderful adoptive family.

God bless the wonderful family who made this lovely young girl their own.

She apparently taught life lessons to all she touched.

Rest in peace.

This is to you (parents) There are no words that can describe you, but amazing. You made that little girl worth living even though it was a very short life. You can live a lifetime and not have that kind of love that you gave her. Until you meet again with your little girl continue being who you are because we really need people like you on this earth. I believe your called angels.

I am as a little teary at my desk after reading this story. She seemed like a very special and brave little girl and her adoptive parents are truly special people. My heart goes out to them in this time of sadness.

I agree - that word is thrown around way too much. If this kid was allowed to live (by the guy upstairs) I can't imagine the good she would have done. I'd like to have a few words with that guy.

I can truly say I never met a more selfless and caring person than Krista - with the noted exception of her parents, Cheryl and Dave. I only met her briefly as a member of the PGR, but she has touched my life in a way no one else has.

If I can give of myself only a fraction of what Krista gave of herself to others, I will feel like I may have made an impact on this world for the better. She was truly a living angel that God gave us for too brief a time. May we all live through her example.
