A round trip over the Memorial Day Weekend would cost a family of four just under $200 ($51 plus $14.75 per passenger over age 12.) This is obcene. I don't think a dollar or two is much of an issue compared to these prices. The ferry is a waste. I live five minutes from it and even with $4.00 plus gas, still take the long way around.

I don't know why a "Patchogue" address was auto generated. I'm in Setauket.

Agreed! The cost is cheaper to drive around then to take the ferry. You dont save time and you dont save money ! Not sure why they havent realized that yet - I live out in Riverhead and still not worth taking the ferry !
