What a sad story..if the woman didn't want them, she could have called animal control and they would have taken them.
This person should be tied up and left for
months to feel what these poor dog's did.
How can anyone be this cruel and inhumane
I sure hope that they give her the MAX.
better yet, give her to Michael Vick.

This is not only tragic but terrifying. If the press hasn't left anything out (i.e. someone was supposed to pick them up and didn't show, etc.) one can only wonder what else this person is capable of. I don't understand how a mind like this thinks, if it does at all. I can only imagine the cruel possibilities to any living creature.

My heart goes out to animals placed in the hands of heartless people such as this, makes you wonder how these people exist in their own relationships and if they just as easily discard people this way. This woman will be judged eventually, but for now we can only be sickened by her actions and feel sorrow for both of these poor dogs.

The woman deserves more than a slap on the wrist. The punishment for animal cruelty should be jail time up to one year. There is no excuse for any human being getting away with this kind of crime.

Why didn't she just leave them outside? She obviously did it on purpose so they would die a slow horrible death. She needs a bullet to the head to be so cruel. No doubt she will get a small fine if anything. Then she will probably be on the welfare dole for the rest of her life and breed a bunch of kids she can mistreat like her dogs. I wish someone would lock her in their basement for a month.

I hope she comes back in her next life as a dog owned by someone as heartless and cruel. She had so many other options for those poor animals. I'll be praying for the victims, too, Sammi.

She should get the same punishment as if she did that to a child. Sick LOSER, she is. Why did she have dogs in the first place. Just like some peeps don't need children.

We should gather at the courthouse when she shows up for whatever they charge her with and give her HELL.

She was offered help and she did this deliberately, she lied to everyone in the neighborhood. She is living in the house again - it is disgusting. She is disgusting.
