Apartment fire in wc

Last week ther was an apartment fire in Walnut cove and nothing has been said about it on here yet. The walnut cove fire dept. arrived on scene and extinguished the fire before it could spread.If it were not for the quick response of the fire departments , it would not have been a good ending. Firefighters from Walnut-Cove And South-Stokes fire departments arrived on scene and controlled the fire.Belews Creek nad Salem Chapel assisted with by bringing a ladder truck and Salem Chapel Stood by at Walnut cove fire department while they were on the scene. Great job by everyone involved. A major tragedy was avoided that night , because of the quick response of the firefighters. This apartment building consisted on 8 units and received only minor damage due to the great job by all the firefighters,town police and stokes EMS personnel. I just wish it wasnt 2am and people in the town of Walnut-Cove could have witnessed the job that was done. Thanks to all the firefighters involved with this fire.

We need to support these men and women of the fire and rescue services , because they are a vital prt of our community. They risk their lives every day to make sure we are safe. They dont have to do it , they choose to do it. Thank You each and every one.

Well i can tell you for a fact walnut cove fire is doing better. Just listen to the radio and you will here the difference. These cry babies that are no longer in Sta 35 are the ones writing all this garbage . Time will tell .m Im not in the fire dept but , i can see a major change. Good job keep it up.

Put up a Gate at the forsyth county line , that would help out a whole lot. Stop sta 24 from coming into town. Alot of their members are behind thuis bitchin and whining.

I have been around this town for about 18 years and it seems to me you have something against Forsyth County. I remember many times when those so call bitchin and whining Sta 24 member were the first ones on the scene and always come when they are called, do what they are asked to do and stay as long as they are needed. Why don't you leave the problems at hand in Walnut Cove. Thats would be the respectful thing to do. I don't think there are any problems between the two departments. Actually I think they work good together as do Walnut Cove and South Stokes. As for Walnut Cove Fire Department, I am glad to see a change. Change is good and will make things better for everyone. As for your gate, does this mean Belews Creek and Rural Hall need to stop as well? Come on people, Can't we all get along.

yes i agree but not all 24 are bad some actually come to help and not bitch. two depts. about 50 members damn i wonder why we have disagreements

It just seems like a lot of people want to stir up stuff in walnut-cove. Ive never heard of a problem with Rural Hall, or Belews Creek , South Stokes, Danbury. Grow up and do the right thing and help people and quit whinning and bitchin. Volunteers are a dying breed and they should be commennded for the job they do every day. Just because you dont agree with some decisions being made people get mad and sit at home and wont help out . Thats so childish. Instead of bitchin and whinning go out and join your local Fire Dept. and help to make a difference. If youre not out helpin then stop bitchin.Walnut-cove has made a drastic turn around and the Town Of Walnut-Cove should be proud.Keep up the good work guys. I dont have anything againist Forsyth county, just a few people who want to stir up junk and keep downing wcfd. Alot of the people who are stirring the mess is affiliated with Salem Chapel and everyone in the fire service knows this. It doesnt matter what dept. you are with , you helpm people and your community . Quit bitchin and do the right thing.

AGAIN people like you should be ashamed of yourselves... they are just here to help... have some respect i mean has that dept in a whole ever done something to you... no reason for comments like that slaem chapel is full of a lot of good people i know a few of them and all they want to do is help please quit bashing them as a whole and bash that person or persons you have problem with im sure they would be glad to handle thier problem with in some other manner than talkin crap on this thing...

you aparently dnt have any idea who i am and i dnt know this bunch you talkin of there are some really good ppl there... all they want is to help... the least you can do is be decent to the ones who care... not every body in this world is out to bash wcfd i think all depts should be ran the way the members want it ran i have nothing against any of the fire depts around here i would just like to see a little team work between the ones i have come to my house if it were to catch on fire...

ok whatever.... well let me tell you this much walnut cove fire dept. gets along with everybody except salem chapel fd , because of things that have happened in the past and some of the members at salem chapel keep stirring up this mess and putting down wcfd just to make them look bad , the guys and girls at wcfd are good people doing the best they can .

i think thats about the stupidest thing iv ever heard in my life. yall both just need to work togeather i have seen both departments work great togeather.put the bitchen and whining thing bihind you all and just try to along.
