I visited the Van Sant Covered Bridge today,to find all the signage gone, not one indication of the history of this bridge. Does anyone know why the signage was removed?

I believe the bridge is going to be repainted very soon. Our house painters informed us a week ago that they won the bid to repaint the covered bridge. This may explain the missing signage.
