Stockton's violent crime rate is obviously increasing, but to blame the police is irresponsible. There simply isn't enough man power to combat these crimes. Why don't we, as a community place the blame on the responsible parties, the MURDERERS,ACCOMPLICES AND WITNESSES who won't talk. How are police supposed to investigate these crimes when the people with info won't talk to them. As far as outlawing guns...well any gun used in a violent crime is obtained illegally anyway, so if we ban guns the wannabe thug gangsters will still have their blackmarket pieces and us law obiding citizens will have nothing. GET THE GHETTO TRASH OUT OF STOCKTON AND THE PROBLEM WOULD BE SOLVED.

My dad saw a man beating up a woman one time. He grabbed the man and starting hitting him. The police showed up and arrested my dad. The man and woman were married. This was years ago before it was illegal to beat a spouse. Shows you want kind of justice this country is built on.
It was never legal to beat anyone
