Talk about old articles. By the way, I heard that Rich pled the 5th on every question during his deposition. I wonder how much his lawyer costs per hour just to advise him to plead the 5th.

I hope his sorry little ass ends up in prison along with his "trophy" secretary. The two of them belong together.

Hmmmm " Why does this guy always write like he knows everything?"
Because he thinks he's a politician.
Of course we all know (except politicians) that if they knew anything they
would do their job in the best interest of the majority.
Obviously the idiots in Sac and Humboldt haven't learned to do that.
No, because he is being TRUTHFUL and COMMUNICATIVE IN WRITING!

I bought Humboldt Creamery products because they were a local independent business that bought from local independent producers (and I like the ice cream!) I even paid more. Foster Farms will likely be under no obligation to maintain relationships with local producers, so they're getting a great deal on facilities and established distribution with none of the former benefits to the community. They can sell the same factory-farmed, mass-produced garbage that they sell everywhere else, shipped in from wherever they can cram the most diseased maltreated & overmilked cows into the smallest space for the least money. Even if you don't care about treatment of farm animals, Foster Farms' environmental, labor and safety violations are on record. I can't imagine what positive benefit they would offer. Butter won't cease to be available in the county if this giant conglomerate doesn't buy the creamery and shortchange the local producers. Did Foster Farms write this article or what?
Almost everything is "a deal" in bankruptcy proceedings - fire thrift sale; just like auctions for foreclosed homes - pennies on the dollar.
