I hear they're going to dig up Yughh's great-grandmother and give her a new trial after she was convicted of providing laudanum to a yak. She wanted a referral to Ye Olde Drugge Courte, but The Man was all about keeping her down.

Why to you even validate Yyghh by making any type of comment to his ramblings?

We do the crime, we pay the time. Get over it Mr. Martinez and take some responsibility.

Because they're not ramblings. It's what really happens now.

"We" don't do the crime now, "we" don't do much of anything. Sometimes now the crime is done by "them," and we have to foot the bill by doing the time. We have new courts and a new judicial philosophy. Some of the new system just isn't working right.

You don't need to comment if you don't want to.

I agree, it sounds like ramblings. Still blaming others for your addition and the crimes you committed to feed it. You are a good example for your nephew.

There's nothing wrong with my "additions." I have no idea what you're accusing me of.

Now, I blame other people for accusing me of having troubling additions. If my addition is painful to others, then it's not my fault. I will always feel innocent about my addition as it is my right as a human to practice addition to my heart's content. If some segment of society has contest with my practice of addition, then I feel the laws of addition must change as I refuse to change my lifestyle to accommodate another's view of what is right or wrong. Society's mores are ever changing, but my right to addition is always here. I commit no crimes at all to feed my hunger for addition, I wrong no one. My addition becomes greater as time progresses, as my love and desire for addition is eternal. I will always have a need for addition, and no one can stop me.

Now, see how that works?

Time to be a Man

"Mr. Martinez" so happens to be my brother and I didn't even know he wrote this letter until today, almost 3 years later. That says a lot about the support my brother had at the time of his incarceration. My brother is definitely not the low-life gang member that everyone seems to want to make him out to be. My brother also failed to mention that he passed the GED 3 months prior to writing this letter, passing each subject but one with a score of 100%. Or that he was a former foster youth with nowhere to go so he was forced to live in an environment full of heavy drug use and that was the reason he tested positive for the drugs he did. It's funny how people just seem to point out everybody's faults and never stop to think of what some people have to go through just to live another day. Hope is a powerful thing. It just so happens that going to prison so young did have a very damaging effect on my brother's life. In this case, the punishment did not fit the "crime". It's people that judge others as you that really mess up others lives. Luckily, my brother made it through this horrible experience and is continuing where he left off in school.

i've heard so many, cry about how sorry,
sorry, they got caught, sorry, they lost their freedom, sorry, they won't be with the family, sorry, they didn't think they would be caught, sorry, because they thought they were too smart, but not
the only true way, if they are truly sorry
time will tell, when he gets out or been in prison for more then half their life
or when he is too old, then he will change
time tells all
