I will never go to this feed store again. The ladies at the counter are so incredibly rude. Never a "Hi" or a smile or anything. Oh, and all the times that Id spend more than $500 there I never once got a thank you. I did not feel welcome in that store. I will never shot at Cerri again. And plus, they dont know all that much either

I am fairly new to the area. Very picky when I have to find a new feed store. I love this store. The employees were terrific. If they didn't know something they didn't have a problem asking someone who did. I knew more about baby chicks than they did, and they were happy for the info. They had bargain baskets, one of my favotite spots in a store, and their bales of hay, although alittle pricy, were very heavy so I was over all happy with them, too. A fun place to wander thru, and yes, i always bought more than I planned on- but it was always a great deal. I love this store!!

This store has gone downhill the past few years. The staff is unprofessional and doesn't know the product. There is no clear leadership or structure. The product in the store is unorganized, dusty, and dated. As soon as you enter the store you should exit. What management they do have is a joke. It seems like every time I go in there, there are new people and management. If they can't even have a steady employee for more than a month, how can they grow?

That is bizzare. I always deal with the same person, Alyssa. I call a day or two before I come out and she puts my feed on hold for me. When I get there, they pull up my order, call the back, I pay, load and leave. It is really easy and they are always pleasant. Yes, I do spend a moment or two or three looking around before I take off, just in case I see something I need. Never a problem and thier pricing brings me back. I save $10/bag of feed off what I spend at my local feed store, so the drive (1.5 hours from my home) is worth it.

I agree that the constant changes are hurting a business that has supplemented the area for decades. It is unfortunate that that store has been going downhill, but I was there a week or so ago and the place was begining to look better than the last 3 times I was there. However, everytime I go there, I agree, there are new faces and managers which is very hindering to a business. I did geg a chance to meet the warehouse manager, Jeff. He is very professional, personable and seems to get his team to comply quite well. He is also very handsome as well as fit (...think he said he was a Marine or something like that). But anyway, it is rewarding to finally see a decent manager at Cerri following Shayne's departure 2 years ago. Cargill and Nutrena should hold what that have and build on it. It would be sad to see the place shut down or crumble again. I guess we all have to be optomistic knowing that all businesses go through an episode every once in a blue moon....

I was just at Cerri this week and what a DUMP it has turned into. They either have run out of feed or just don't stock the shelves. The store manager Roberta, is very rude and doesn't understand what customer service is, she also was trying to explain the importance of superior ingredients in their Loyall Lamb and Rice dog food, here are the top 6 ingredients:
(Lamb meal, brewers rice, chicken by-product meal, ground whole wheat, rice bran, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols)).
There is nothing superior in this food, in fact it's just crap. I would like to know who she had to sleep with to get her job. The store is dirty and just unpleasant to shop at and with the current staff just standing around, not approaching customers to help you would think that they would have time to clean. That was the last time they will get my money.

Rude, rude, rude... The office staff has gone to shit. Alissa is very incompetent. Liz is a fat and mean bitch who is extremely unprofessional. Cargill should fire that whole office. I shopped there for 30 plus years... No more :(

Rita,
I'm sorry you had a terrible experience at cerri. Cerri feed went under new ownership and management in May. I'm the general manager of the store and I'm currently out on maternity leave. I've been at cerri for 9 years and am trying to get things back to the way they used to be. The staff is currently undergoing training on the products to be able to better assist our customers. I want to let you know that customer service is something we pride ourselves on. Your experience will be addressed with the office staff. Thank you for your input.

Jewel
